Narrative POV:

When she woke up, she was in an obnoxiously bright room with a distant ticking noise in the background. she tried to sit up, soon realising that she was tied down on what seemed like a metal table of some sort. Alex began to look around to try and get a better idea of what situation she was in. The last thing she remembered before the whole world went black was her dad's face. Her dad's scarily straight and emotionless face. (But I guess you could just call that his normal face, but who am I to judge) It wasn't a hospital, that much Alex knew and it obviously wasn't  heaven but yet she couldn't help but feel I slight hint of familiarity or nostalgia or even deja vu if you will. Although she couldn't quite reach the memories that held the key of why she knew this place so well and then it hit her or well it walked into the room. Standing there in front of her was someone that she didn't quite know but she still knew. She felt the same way about the woman standing in front of her as the room that she was suddenly trapped inside of.

She prayed that this was some sort of fucked up dream and she would walk up, wrapped in Liam's arms, exactly the way she had the night prior. But deep down she knew that that wouldn't happen again, at least not for a long time because somewhere in that same place deep down she knew she wasn't getting out of here alive. But she wished she was wrong.
