With that final remark Mike pulled the trigger which gave of an ear piercing bang which could have been heard for miles upon miles and no doubt everyone Wild Thing and soldier in that camp heard it. The only question that was left was, who was dead?

Liam's POV:

All I could hear was the ringing in my ears but I wasn't I was in pain, so I guess that's something. When I eventually opened my eyes Mike wasn't standing in front of me anymore. He was lying on the floor, blood pouring out of his stomach. I immediately ran over and checked his pulse but he wasn't breathing. He was dead but who shot him.

"Liam, are you okay?" A voice said. I looked up and saw Ari standing a short distance away. "Is he dead?" he asked. "Yeah, he is but he was going to kill me so don't worry about it" I replied. "Save that for later. Alex is in danger," Oliver said, who I hadn't noticed was standing beside Ari. "What do you mean she's in danger, what happened?" I asked, panic building inside me. "Well apart from the obvious," he said, gesturing to around him. "I saw our dad and he always somehow manages to put Alex in danger so get up and let's go," he finished, putting his hand out to help me up. I took it. "Wait, I thought I Clancy killed him?" I asked. "Yeah that's what I'm guessing he wanted you guys to think but I can promise you he's alive so let's move." It was Ari this time so answered. "Where do you last see him, Oliver?" He asked. "This way, follow me," Oliver replied. "You're welcome by the way," Ari said.
