Pyro and the Hulk (book 2: B. Banner X OC)

I was currently in the kitchen making coffee and placing a jug of juice on the counter. Today I was dressed in Bruce's purple shirt, the top buttons undone and sleeves rolled up along with a pair of blue jeans and my fuzzy bunny slippers. I giggled as Bruce wrapped his arms around my waist, pressing his face into my neck. "Good morning love." I say and smile when I feel his happiness as well as Hulks at the nickname. The two still didn't get along all the time but when it came to me and the kids they both seemed to agree. This meant that the two of them were only ever calm when the three of us where around.

I lean back into him, relishing in his body heat, he starts to sway to the music in the background as he peppered my neck with kisses. The mornings where our only quiet time now, between Jace turning 5 and Lilly running around and learning how to open everything. The tower had gotten a little hectic, not to mention Tony blew something up at least once a week and teaching Jace. Thing were often left pulled apart for him to see how it worked, since he always got to bored to fix it afterwards. 

"I love you" The both of us whisper at the same time making us smile. I was currently making breakfast for everyone. Everyone being the Avengers plus Jace and Lilly. Nick had called a meeting for the avengers so it was definitely a full house today. Prof in the fact that the kitchen island was now scattered with plates full of pancakes, eggs, bacon, French toast, fruit and the all important pop tarts for Thor. Last time we had run out Tony had to replace the kitchen table. 

We both absorb the last of the moment as we hear the sound of tiny feet running on the wood flooring. We both turn to see Lilly appearing around the corner. "Dada!!" I will never get used to how adorable she had gotten over the years. Her Blonde hair was almost a shade of gold and was wavy passed her shoulders already. Her eyes had also changed a little, they were more blue but seemed to darken to violet when ever she was upset. 

Bruce let go of me and crouched down to catch her as she ran up to him. I loved that her first word was 'Dada' and never let Bruce forget how he passed out at being called dad. The same day that she did, Bruce adopted her as his own so now Lilly was Lilliana Hunter-Banner and I couldn't be happier. 

I watch as Bruce and Lilly talk away with each other about the dream Lilly had last night. Smiling I kiss Lilly on the cheek "Morning ma fleur" (My flower in French) before pecking Bruce on the lips. Jace comes into the kitchen rubbing his eyes sleepily as he drags his feet on the floor. "Morning mamma, Morning Daddy" his voice was still thick with sleep only making this moment all the more adorable. "Morning buddy" Bruce ruffles his hair as he walks past.

"Morning little cub" Jace walks over to me and presses him face into my abdomen and hugging me "I'm sleepy" I smile down as him and run my hand through his hair, fixing his bedhead. "Will pancakes make it better?" He immediately perks up at the mention of his favourite food and nods excitedly. "Miss Hunter, Mr Banner. The others are here" JARVIS informs us as Jace sits down and Bruce put Lilly in her high chair. 

"You want orange juice?" I ask Jace as I place two pancakes on his place as well as some fruit, he nods as I place the plate in front of him. "Can I have some mommy?" Lilly says from her spot between Bruce and I, Jace was on the other side of me. "Of course you can baby" I grab he green Sippy cup from the cupboard and fill it up before placing it on her try. Kissing her forehead I sit down just as the elevator door opens. Everyone came spilling out talking loudly. Thor being much louder then the rest "POPTARTS!" the kids and I laugh and Nat and Clint jump to the side out of Thor's way as he practically runs for the box of sugary pastry. Clint joins in when he sees the island and immediately grabs a plate, filling it "Food!" 

I ignore the two and turn to everyone else "Morning guys, I made breakfast. You should all probably grab some before Bird Brain eats it all." They all say good morning back and thank me before grabbing their own plates and joining us. 

Nat sat beside Jace after ruffling his hair and bopping Lilly on the nose, making her giggle loudly. Bruce and I hold hands on the table, occasionally letting go to clean up the kids or to help them cut their food. The whole table was noisy but comfortable. Bruce and I may complain about the noise sometimes but in reality, this was our family and we wouldn't have it any other way. 

The moment was ruined by Nick as he brought up the mission briefing.
