Pyro and the Hulk (book 2: B. Banner X OC)

Thor, Tony and Vision move off to focus their power onto Ultron and I join them. I concentrate my flames into on continues stream like a laser and hit Ultron with it. We stop and Ultron stands back up weakly. "You know, with the benefit of hindsight." Before Ultron can finish Hulk punches him far off into the distance. A group of suits saw this and when Hulk turned his attention to the with a roar they scamper off, scared. I smile and shake my head as I re-join the others to protect the core, leaving my fiancé to chase after the robots.

When I get there everyone was gone apart from Wanda and Jace. "Where'd they all go?" Wanda explains with a small exhausted smile and Jace leans on me half asleep. The water now flooded the floor.

Pietro speeds over and Wanda turns her attention to him "Get the people on the boats."

"I'm not leaving you here." Pietro argues

"I can handle this." She destroys a robot with a single move, proving her point. "Come back for me when everyone else is off. Not before." Pietro grunts in annoyance, knowing how stubborn his sister could be. "You understand?"

"You know, I'm 12 minutes older then you." He comments in return to his sisters bossy tone. I give a sad smile at Pietro's words. "You sound just like my twin did. Except it was 15 minutes. He never let me forget it." They both smile back before Pietro leaves. I pick Jace up and put him on my back. I press the button on the new belt Tony designed for me. Metal starts climbing up my body to create a herness for Jace. It moves over him to protect anything vital as his arms and legs go around me. I feel his head rest on my shoulder heavily as he passes out.

I stay with Wanda and help her protect the core. After a few minutes she falls to her knees with a scream and red mist shoots out around us, destroying everything. I rush over and take her hand in mine. She utters a single word. "Pietro"

"What are you talking about? Did you feel something happen to him?" I ask softly as I help her up. "He's dead. I can't hear his thoughts anymore."

I wipe her tears away. "That's not true. I gave him a Vibranium suit. He must have been knocked out. Come on. We're done here. Lets go find him. Okay?"

"Okay." I take her hand in mine and we step over the scarp metal the was scattered over the floor. I press the coms "Anyone have eyes on Pietro?"

"I do. He took a lot of hits. Poor bastards knocked out." Clint speaks up, He sounded oddly happy and smug. I think over everything that Clint could have possibly done. When my mind settles on one thought I groan loudly. "You drew on him didn't you." There was silence for a few moments before he hesitantly replies with a drawn out "Maybe" I shake my head and continues to guide Wanda to the ships. "Just get him to the ships. and or gods sake put the pen down." I hear a faint clatter letting me know he had finally stopped drawing on the poor boy.

I push Wanda towards a boat. She complies when Clint waves to her with a knocked out Pietro thrown over his shoulder. I see Hulk strolling randomly through the streets and breaking things half heartedly. I smile at his behaviour and run over to him. He calms down when he sees me and one of his eyes turns a rich brown. "How are my best guys. You too ready to go home?"

He nods and lets out a small roar. He picks me up and walk over the the bridge. Since he was sharing his body with Bruce right now and not the other way around he decreased in size so he was about half the size he was when he was fully Hulk.

He runs and jumps high into the air, holding my protectively as he tries not to crush Jace and I with his strength. We land on top of the landing strip of the helicarrier and I kiss his cheek.

"I need Bruce back so you can fit through the door." I comment with a smile as I point to the small door frame. "Don't worry he will let you out later so you can spend time with the kids." He debates it for a moment before setting me down carefully. He runs his finger over my cheek before letting Bruce take control again. After a while my fiancé is left in standing in front of my awkwardly dressed in nothing but a pair of oversized pants that he had to hold up. I smile and place a gentle kiss on his lips. "I love you."

"I love you too. Now lets get inside. You must have a headache from the air and I need clothes." I giggle and link my arm with him. We walk inside together and go the the room that was kept aside for us. I lay Jace down on the bed while Bruce gets showered and changed. He comes out in sweatpants and a sweater. I smile at him before writing a quick note to let Jace know where we were and left it on the bed side.

"Come on. I really need to hug out daughter after today." He smile and hold his arms out to me. "Come here." I smile and practically falls into him arms as exhaustion takes over. I wrap my arms around his waist tightly and rest my head over his heart. He holds me just as tightly and kisses the side of my head multiple times. We stay like that for a few minutes swaying side to side slowly.

I pull away and hold his face in my hands. We kiss until we are both breathless. "Come on. Lets go get out daughter." He says as he pulls me out of the door. We both run towards the bridge and I hear Lily squeal happily and Nick hold her upside down. I smile and we slow down to a walk. "Lily?"

We both hear her gasp and she struggles to get out of Nick's arms. The man lets her down with a smile and Lily sprints over. I drop to my knees so I can catch her and she knocks my to the ground. I laugh as I hug her tightly.

When I do manage to sit up Bruce sits down behind me so I can lean on him and he wraps his arms around us both. "I misses you Mommy, Daddy."

"We missed you too princess" She leans back and look around. "Where's Jay-jay?"

"He's sleeping right now. He used a lot of his powers today. You can see him later." She nods and snuggles into me. I look up at Nick. "What's happening? Did everyone get off?"

He nods. "Stark and Thor did it. Stark is flying to us now and Thor is in the water. We'll fish him out later. Vision ended Ultron for good."

I let of a sigh and let Bruise take my full weight as my adrenaline finally fades. "You need to sleep." He stands up and borrows some strength from Hulk to be able to lift the both of us effortlessly. He carries us back to the room and sets me down on one of the beds. He takes Lily from my arms since she had fallen asleep and lays her next to Jace. 

I smile when Bruce sits me up and helps me out of my suit and into the same outfit as his. The moment we both lay down I snuggled into his arms and fall asleep.
