Pyro and the Hulk (book 2: B. Banner X OC)

I leave Steve since he looked as if he had things handled at the bridge and take Jace further into the city. He puts out fires along the way and I partially restore a few buildings to get some beams off a car, allowing the people inside to leave. "Go to the bridge." I yell after them and they change direction to follow my order.

We find Clint shooting multiple arrows and I take out the ones I had been collecting near by. "Need these?" I wave them teasingly with a smirk. He takes them and fires a few more, taking down the suits near us. "Thanks Li-Li" I grin when I hear that. It was what he said to me during the battle of New York when I had even him some of his arrows back. 

A suit fires at us and T quickly tackle the three of us down out of the way, not wanting to use my powers as much. Clint lets out an 'ow' and I quickly apologise.

 Wanda comes out of a building nearby and takes down at least 6 suites effortlessly. I give her an impressed look and Jace pops up next to me holding both of his thumbs up in a show of support while Clint shoots the last two. 

"Right, we're all clear here." Clint says over to coms as we walk over to Wanda. I give the brunette a side hug and place a motherly kiss on the top of her head. 

"We are not clear! We are very not clear!" Steve shouts over the coms and I lift Jace up so he's on my back. "All right. Coming to you." Clint says as Pietro speeds in and picks his twin up. I manage to place a kiss on his head like I did for his sister, before he speeds of with a "Keep up old man!" being yelled over his shoulder. Clint hold up his bow in their direction and draws an arrow but doesn't release it. "Nobody would now. Nobody. The last I saw him, an Ultron was sitting on him. Yeah, He'll be missed, that quick little bastard. I miss him already."  

I smirk and clear my throat loudly. He quickly spins around to faced me and lowered his bow with a sheepish look. "Feeling the love Clint." 

He scratches the back of his neck. "Sorry, genuinely forgot you two were there." 

"Clearly." I say as I ruffle his hair before wrapping Jace and I in a shield and flying after the others. We reach the twins and I help Wanda take a few down with my shields and Pietro gets shot in the arm. Thankfully due to the suit I made him the bullet just bounced off harmlessly and clattered to the ground. 

We both turn around to look at the police officer that had shot him and he lowers his gun awkwardly, realising he didn't listen to his superiors orders. I shake my head before tearing the last few suits in half with Wanda's help. 

Once their gone we guide the rest of the civilians to the edge of the city and I create a slide with the rubble. I coat the surface with a shield to stop anyone from hurting themselves on anything sharp. I nod to both Pietro and Jace. Jace sits down next to me and slows time again while Pietro uses his speed to move people onto the side and push them down. Each time Jace would stop the effects of his powers to they would slide down and be able to move at the bottom so they wouldn't pile up. I do this for a few minutes before I can see Jace and I getting worn out. I tap his shoulder indicating for him to stop and Pietro stops what he's doing. "Thank you" I say to the white haired boy as I pat his cheek and let the slide crumble. Everyone had already gotten off of it. 

"What's the plan Cap? Air's starting to get a little thin." He looks around as he thinks and a familiar voice breaks out. I sigh in relief when the helicarrier comes into view. "Nice, right? Pulled her out of mothballs with a couple of old friends. She's dusty, but she'll do."

"Fury, you son of a bitch." I turn to Cap with a smirk. "Language." I chuckle when he rolls his eyes and sticks his tongue out childishly. I turn back to the carrier. "Nick, please tell me Lily is with you."

"Hi Momma!" I let out a relieved chuckle and finally let myself relax. "Hiya baby. Having fun?"

"Yeah, Uncle Nickie let me fly." My daughter says innocently.

"WHAT!" and just like that I loose my relaxed stance. "Oh no. Lils you wasn't supposed to tell her." I hear Nick say to her before my daughter replies with a small "oops" But I could hear the smile in her voice. She enjoyed getting him into trouble with me since I was one of the very few people Nick was actually afraid of.

The carrier deploys some life boats and Pietro looks on amazed. "This is S.H.I.E.L.D?" I smile and put my arm over his shoulders. "This is what S.H.I.E.L.D is supposed to be."

"This is not so bad." I smile and pat his arm before motioning for the civilians to get in to the small air crafts. I guide a group onto a craft and make sure they are safely on. "Avengers time to work for a living."

I wave with an assuring smile to the kids who were watching on as the doors shut and they wave back. I grab Jace's hand and fly us to the church were Thor was. We all worked together to protect the core. Jace held a high pressured water barrier around it so none of the suits could attempt to throw the key in. I guarded his back and made sure none of them could even get close to him.

Hulk shows up and comes over to me. He kneels down and I place my hand on his outstretched one. "Butterfly and little one okay?" I smile at the nicknames and nod. "We're okay. I spoke to out baby butterfly as well. She's perfect." He grins at my words and taps the top of my head gently. He does the same to Jace. My son smiles and waves up at his dad. "Hi Dad."

"Is that the best you've got!" Thor cries out. Ultron raises his hand and more suits fly to us. I turn around and glare at the God. "You just had to ask"

"This is the best I can do. This is exactly what I wanted. All of you against all of me. How you possibly hope to stop me?"

"Well, like the old man said...Together." Steve and I both smile as Tony quotes Steve's earlier words. Hulk Roars loudly and hundreds of suits attack us rom every angle. 

I gather a large amount in a shield and use them to hit others with before crushing them to death. I repeat this while the others use whatever abilities and skills they had to hand. Hulk even bites one of their heads off.
