Pyro and the Hulk (book 2: B. Banner X OC)

"We have the location of a HYDRA base in Sokovia, that may contain Loki's sceptre. I need you to take it down and gather any information if you can. If the sceptre is there retrieve it" He passes around a tablet and we each take a turn reading it. With the amount of security this place had I knew there was a high chance that we would need the Hulk's help on this. Bruce seemed to know that too as he started to feel anxious. Leaning over I kiss his cheek, putting my love and reassurance into it. He instantly calms down and gives me a smile and returns my gesture. "Okay love birds, not at my table" I roll my eyes at Tony and he gives me an innocent smile in return. 

When Nick leaves he puts his now empty plate in the kitchen and says goodbye to the kids. The rest of us continue eating until all the food is gone. When we are all done everyone helps me clean up the mess. The boys each kiss my cheek in thanks as they walk off to get ready. I would be helping with todays mission and so would Jace. Which meant that since no one was going to be able to look after Lilly I had to take her with me. Tony had designed her a suit that was extremely light weight and attached to me like a backwards back pack. It was basically a feminine version of Tony's but green and white instead of red and gold. It just meant that she was extra protected. I had managed to talk Tony out of making it fancy until she was older. For right now the screen inside the helmet allowed her to watch movies while also blocking all the outside noise. She was able to talk to me through a separate ear piece that I had to touch to reply back to her. 

Bruce and I walk over to our room smiling as Jace ran past to his, Lilly had already gone off with Tony to get ready. He kisses me once more before getting into the shower. I quickly strip and change into my suit. I finished clipping on my weapons before Bruce was done so I pulling out an out fit for him that he wouldn't care about destroying and pack a spare change of clothes for him. When I'm done Bruce walks out with a towel around his waist. 

Walking over to him I place my hands on his chest and lean up to kiss him. His arms instantly wrapping around my waist. I pull away, but stay in his arms "You going to be okay?" He nods shyly "As long as your there"

"You can be so cheesy, but I love it." he grins at me and I kiss him once more. "I'm going to get Jace ready. You get changed and we will meet you at the jet." I leave him to get changed and go help Jace. He still had the same uniform as before only bigger to fit his growing body along with a blaster built into his gloves that Tony added. They wouldn't hurt anyone, simply stun them into unconsciousness. "You okay to help?" I ask as I help him lace up his combat boots. "Yes momma, is Lilly coming?"

"Yes little cub, but she will be in her new suit that uncle Tony made her." Once his boots are done up we both head up the the Jet. Lilly Jumps off of Bruce's lap and runs up to me when we walk onto the jet. Picking her up I stand still as part of her suit moves around the both of us. It created a harness for her that then shaped around my shoulders and the middle of my back. Tony had designed it so it would act as armour for me as well. 

Once its done I sit down next to Bruce so Lilly was in my lap. We had kept her helmet off for now she she could talk to everyone. I leaned my head on Bruce's shoulder and smiled as Lilly babbled on. She had picked up talking pretty quickly but she still spoke in her own language half the time. I missed when Jace was little, but now my little cub is growing up. 

My smile turns sad at the bitter sweet thought. As if Bruce knows what I'm thinking he pulls me closer to his side. I instantly lean into his side letting myself sink into his comfort. I sit in silence for the next hour until we arrive simply enjoying the company. 

When we do finally land we are a few miles out to limit being seen and we head the rest of the way on foot when we are close enough Nat and Clint steel one of the cars HYDRA was using. Nat was driving while Clint was firing explosive arrows at the HYDRA agents. 

Thor was now up on one of the watcher platforms nocking the men off and onto the ground. Despite the situation I giggle when I hear Nat humming 'It's raining men' under her breath through the coms. 

Somewhere along the way Steve had gotten his hands on a motorcycle and was now currently dragging a HYDA agent across the snow. I knocked out a few more agents while Jace stays next to me stunning a couple with his new blasters. I could hear Hulk roaring in the distance as he tramples trough the snow. "Levi go with Tony" I nod when Steve gives me my order and Jace holds on to me as I used my force field to fly us after Tony. Even though Jace was able to fly on his own it would take less of my energy to shield us both together rather then separately. It would also stop him from getting hurt while he was in the air.

I stop mid air though when I see Tony crash into the side of the building bouncing off a barrier "Shit!"

Steve and I chastise him at the same time "Language!" I go to leave it at that and flew Jace and I back to the ground. Jace decides that now is the perfect time to copying Tony "Shit". 

"Little cub, no. That's a bad word, only adults can swear." I turn off his coms for a second before covering his ears and proceed to tell of the now giggling billionaire "Stark, I'm going to kill you! in fact no when we get back I'm telling pepper" I knew I sounded childish right now, but if you knew Pepper you know that she can be terrifying sometimes. Tony knew not to anger the strawberry blonde as he immediately stops laughing and apologises. Letting go of Jace I turn his coms back on and can't help but smile at his innocent look. Jace was definitely a Mommas boy. 

I press on my left ear to check in on Lilly, now I was standing still I could feel her moving around in her suit. Once our coms connect I instantly figure out that she's dancing as I hear her watching princess and the frog. "You okay flower?"

"Yes, momma. Princess froggy" I giggle when I hear her start singing Tiana's part of 'When I'm human'. "Okay baby girl" I press my ear again, cutting our connection and turn my attention back to the mission. 

"JARVIS, what's the view from upstairs?" Steve asks the A.I. after New York Tony realised that me using JARVIS though him was actually a good idea and decided to patch him into the teams communication system for us to all use whenever we were on a mission. 

"The central building is protected by some kind of energy shield. Strucker's technology is well beyond any other HYDRA base we've taken." JARVIS in form all of us. 

"Loki's sceptre must be here. Strucker couldn't mount this defence without it. At long last" Thor says over the coms. He hated wearing it but knew how important it was. Plus every mission he used it correctly I would sneakily add a new box of pop tarts into his cupboard. If he knew, he never said anything.
