"Ultron knows we're coming. Odds are we'll be riding into heavy fire. And that's what we signed up for. But, the people of Sokovia, they didn't. " As Steve gives his usual speech I help the twins put in their ear pieces moving on to Jace and helping him Clip on his water bracelets. "So our priority is getting them out. All they want is to live their life in peace and that's not gonna happen today. But we can do our best to protect them and we can get the job done. We find out what Ultron's been building. We find Romanoff and we clear the field. Keep the fight between us. Ultron thinks we're monsters. That we're what's wrong with the worlds. This isn't just about beating him. It's about whether he's right" 

When Steve says the word monsters I wrap my arms around Bruce from behind his chair as kiss the side of his head in comfort. I see him smile and he takes my left hand in his. He laces our fingers together and places a kiss on he back of my hand, over my ring.

Arriving in Sokovia we quickly got to doing what we were assigned to do. I helped Wanda guide civilians to safety along with Pietro. I hear Pietro over the comms firing a gun before telling the police to get of their arses. I chuckle as I put more civilians into a 'bubble' and 'fly' them out of the city. Wanda uses her powers to enter everyone's minds and get them to leave the city, only taking the bare essentials with them.

I help a family calm their new born down by controlling her emotions and sending her to sleep for a few hours. They thank me and I help them into their car. Jace stands next to me and uses his powers to refill the empty bottles he had found in the car with water. They drive off after that and Jace and I go back to helping people. "Your doing well cub."

"Thanks Momma. Where's dad again?"

"He's finding you aunt Nat with Thor." Metal suits suddenly start bursting from the ground and Jace and I work on destroying them. I used my shields to collect group of them and melt them down. Before taking the heat away, leaving spheres of mixed metal on the ground. I could always move them later. Jace uses his water and Ice to put out fires and we re-join Wanda as she shields people. I add a shield to hers to taking off some of the strain. The people start running and Jace freezes the suit over. I quickly melt it. "Great job sweetie." I praise Wanda as I help her off the ground. "Come on. No resting. We're only just getting started." She gives me a small smile.

"Hey Stevie, Mind breaking a hydrant for Jace. He's going to need a bigger water source." I hear him chuckle at the nickname over the coms before the sound of a hydrant bursting covers it. 

Jace smiles when he hears it "Thanks uncle Steve."

"Anytime bud."

I loose track on how many suits I destroy with Jace beside me. The ground rumbles and I lose my footing a little before catching myself. I 'fly' up and see that a huge chunk of the city was starting to lift into the air. I go back to the ground and pull Jace with me. "I need you to slow things down a little while I get as many people off as I can. Let me know when you can't hold it anymore. Okay?"

He nods and everything around us begins to slow. I sit on the ground and open up my empathy. Something I hated doing. The emotions of everyone around me slams into me making we wince as my head starts to pound. I push the pain aside and start using people emotions to let me track where they are. I use my shields to collect civilians and move them out of the city faster. After about 10 minutes half the people remain when Jace leans against me. I stop what I'm doing and dull my empathy down. "Come one Cub. We still have a lot of people to help." I increase his adrenaline as time around us goes back to normal. "Thanks momma."

I stand up from the ground, kissing his forehead as I do and we both go back to destroying the suits. Ultron gives a speech of his own but I keep killing the suits near me so I don't have to hear it.

"Cap, you've got incoming." Tony's voice rings through my ear and I hear Steve groan in response "Incoming already came in." despite the situation I snort in amusement as I hold back a laugh. "Stevie, coming to you." I tell him as Jace and I run over. I use my reconstruction ability and turn the rubble into a giant ski ramp of sorts that had platforms for cars. Allowing the civilians to drive off the bridge and make it back onto the ground safely. "That should help make you're job easier for the next five minutes." I comment at Cap with sassy tone. He rolls his eyes but smiles none the less and we tear open some more suits apart.

"Stark you worry about bringing the city down safely. The rest of us have one job, tear these thing apart. You get hurt, hurt them back. You die, walk it off" Steve says as he covers me. Jace helps him while I heal a few people who were too injured to move. 

I sit back with a sigh as I take a few moments to catch my breath. I hadn't used so many of my abilities so much at once before and it was definitely wearing on me.

I smile when I hear a roar in the distance and join the others knowing we had hulk helping now would make this a little easier.

I hear Clint give a fatherly talk to Wanda and a warmth fills my chest knowing that he wasn't holding anything against the young woman and helping her gain a little more confidence in her abilities.
