Pyro and the Hulk (book 2: B. Banner X OC)

When everything is back to how it was no one notices that anything was different apart for Pietro. I guess since he moves so quickly he had picked of the difference. He gave Jace a look of adoration before speeding over and picking him up. "New power, little man?" 

My son nods happily and Pietro ruffles his hair before putting him back down. He nods to me once before speeding away. After taking down a few more androids I hear Jace giggle. I turn to see what he's laughing out only to see Pietro paused in mid air while being pulled back by Thor's hammer. 

I chuckle with my son before clicking the camera icon on my watch I hear a little click from the microscopic camera attached to my chest.

Jace restarts time again and I lean over the railing and look down at the white haired boy. "You okay, silver?" he gives me a thumbs up making me smile and I get back to fighting. Jace freezes over a suit and I melt it before it can break free. 

There are some gunshots and I instantly place a shield around Jace, not wanting him to get hurt. "Guys? Is this a code green?" I hear Bruce's voice over the coms. "No sweetie, we got it. I love you."

"Love you too." I smile when I hear his voice as well as Lilly's voice in the background "Love you momma" 

"I love you too baby." I pick Jace up and swing him onto my back. He uses his ice to create a harness again and I put a shield around us and look around. Wanda had uses her powers on everyone. I help Thor up since he's to closest and shake him until snaps out of it. I leave him to deal with the others when I hear a roar in the distance.

I swear loudly. Panicked I flew Jace and I out or the ship. Once I'm back on the ground I see Lilly's suit fly to me so I stay still as the metal forms around Jace and I.

"Brother, I'm going to need your help with this one. My powers may not be enough."

"On it."

I hear him call for Veronica as I continue to fly us to him. Once I reach the city I curse once more and send a large calming pulse. Those that were standing too close to me started to look a little sleepy and Hulk pauses in his movements for a moment. I quickly restore the buildings that were damaged and heal those that had been hurt. "Jace slow time"

At my command everything around us slows until it almost stops. I remove the shield from us and move it around everyone that I can see. I levitate the civilians out of the way and put them a few streets over.

I look to my son over my shoulder and nod letting him know he could stop. I hear sounds of confusion from Tony as Veronica flies down to cover him. 

I use my shields and start moving anything explosive out of the way while sending another wave of calm. Veronicas containment unit slams down on the ground piece by piece to help contain the Hulk while I attempt to calm him down. 

Unfortunately Hulk just slams himself into the ground multiple times until the road beneath him gives way allowing him to escape. 

Police officers shoot at him which only makes him angrier. I push the police out of the way and take the guns from them just as Tony lands close by in his Iron-Hulk suit. 

Everyone goes quiet so I start singing ignoring those who looked at me as if I grew a second head. At my voice Hulk calms down slightly and starts to sit on the ground. I take a step closer wrapping a shield tightly around me and the kids. they both stay silent. I reached my hand out to him and he lifts his hand to copy my action only for someone to fire a single bullet at Hulk's head. 

I sigh in annoyance and quickly jump backwards as hulk roars loudly and stands up smashing anything nearby, before glaring at the guy that shot him.

Tony then interferes before I could do anything. "All yours brother, I've got buildings to fix and people to heal."

"Gee, thanks. Best sister in the world." I roll my eyes at Tony's sarcasm but cant help but smile a little. I fix the road first and walk over to a  few of the smaller buildings near by that still needed fixing. I ignore the sounds around me, which I would later learn was a mistake. When I'm done and there is no more rubble on the road I turn around and curse when I see how much damage Tony and Hulk had actually done. 

They had some how managed to destroy an entre strip of road as well and the side of multiple buildings and market stools. They also managed to crash into a mall before destroyi8ng a building that was in the process of being built. I sigh heavily at the damage and wrap a bubble around me. "Jace sweetie could you.." before I finish I see time slow and I fly over the road fixing it as I do and follow the path of destruction that the two left. 

It takes me a while to fix the windows but it was pretty to watch the shards of glass float off the ground before mending themselves back together. "Thank you cub, you can stop now"

When I finally reach my fiancé and brother they are laying the the rubble of a sky scrapper that Tony decided to drop Hulk into. Their are sirens and screams everywhere as I watch Hulk gain control of his mind again. I quickly leap forwards and hug him while putting a set of ear buds, that I kept on my belt, in his ears and playing his playlist. "Close your eyes Bubby, its okay. Everything will be alright."

I take his hands in mine and pull him down to me placing multiple kisses all over his face. I guide him out of the rubble and motion the army and police to lower their guns. They hesitate at first until they see the tears on his face. The kids detach themselves from be and climb up their father before snuggling into his arms, trying to calm and comfort him.

Tony pulls himself from the rubble and sends Veronica back, leaving him in his usual Ironman suit. I motion him over, once he's next to me I push my powers into the ground, my veins come alight with a purple glow as I do. The ground and air around me crackles with energy.

The screams and sirens stop and people pause and watch in awe as everything around them fixes itself as if nothing happened. The only proof that something did was the dust that still filled the air and coated the skin of those that were nearby.

When I'm done I shake off the dizziness and wrap a bubble around Hulk, the kids and I and fly us to the jet. Tony following closely behind.
