"Puuuush." The doctor said as he stood between Liana legs. Chris stood there watching with his eyes wide. Technically this was his first time seeing Liana give birth. He felt as if he was going to pass out any minute. TJ stood with Jennifer, Maurice, and Natasha out in the hallway as they patiently waited for Liana to give birth.
"Bitch, I am pushing!" Liana screamed, squeezing Chris hand tighter.
"Babe calm down. Breathe babe." Chris said softly as he used his free hand to caress her forehead.
"You calm the fuck down! You're not the one, ahhhh, ahhh, ahhhhhhhhhhh!"
"I see her head." The doctor said excitedly. Liana pushed harder and the baby came out further; when it was just the legs left, the doctor pulled her out, looking at her private part and announcing that she was indeed a girl before covering her up.
"Let me see my baby." Liana gasped. She was anxious, but tired at the same time. Chris stood in his place, stuck. It was new to him. His daughter was finally in this world.
"We have to clean her up and run some tests, then you can hold her." The nurse said, leaving the room.
"I wanna see her now." Liana pouted, rolling her eyes.
Chris chuckled. "Babe be quiet, you can see her in a minute. We should think of baby names now though."
"Liana Brown?" Liana joked. TJ walked into the room holding Maurice hand. Jennifer walked in behind them but Natasha stayed outside.
"Christina Brown?" Chris laughed.
"Fuck no." Liana shook her head. "Wait we're forgetting middle names."
"Christina Liana Brown." TJ joined in.
Liana stared at him then pointed to the door. "Boy that's ugly, get out." She giggled.
"Aye, you not pregnant no more; I can beat yo ass now." TJ threatened, playfully slapping her leg.
"Hey!" Maurice intervened, punching TJ in his leg. "Don't touch my mommy!"
Jennifer slapped TJ in the back of his head. "Yeah don't touch her."
"What the fuck is this? I'm Liana's body guard day?" TJ asked, rubbing his leg and head. Everybody in the room started laughing. Chris shook his head.
"What about Mya?" He asked.
"I like that name." Maurice added, he had a big kool-aid grin on his face and was nodding his head like a bobble head.
"Mya Liani Brown." Jennifer said, smiling.
"I like that, actually I love it." Liana shrieked. She repeated it a few times in her head as everybody agreed it was a beautiful name. Chris looked around at everyone's proud and excited faces. He frowned for a moment when he realized Natasha wasn't in the room but he shrugged it off; he wasn't going to let her ruin his day.
The nurse came in moments later, handing Liana, her new daughter, Mya. "She's as healthy as a horse." She smiled.
"Did you just call my sister a horse?" Maurice asked, staring at the nurse. Everybody busted out laughing. The way he was already sticking up for his sister was adorable.
"It was a metaphor nigga." Chris chuckled, running his fingers through his hair.
"You so beautiful, mommy loves you." Liana whispered, kissing Mya's cheeks. Everybody watched in awe as she held Mya in her arms and talked to her. Chris bent down beside Liana. "This your mean ass daddy, he loves you too." Liana handed Mya to Chris.
"Don't listen to her, I'm not mean."
"Um Chris, come here for a minute." Natasha interrupted, standing in the doorway. Everybody turned around to look at her.
"I'm busy." Chris mumbled, rolling his eyes.
"It's fucking urgent." She spat. He sighed loudly, handing Mya back to Liana.
"I'll be right back." Chris said to Liana. She started to say something, but instead she just nodded her head. She knew Natasha was just doing anything in her power to get the attention back on her and she wasn't about to feed into it any longer. "What?" Chris asked harshly once they were in the hallway.
"I still have an appointment I need to get to." She mumbled, looking at the time on her phone.
"So? Go."
"You're not coming with me?"
Chris narrowed his eyes at her. "Bitch my daughter was just born. I can give a two fucks about that appointment. Go by yourself or reschedule the shit." He gritted out.
"Watch your fucking mouth and so it's fuck my baby, huh? Just because that hoe gave birth to your demon seed don't mean she's any more important than me."
"Natasha, chill the fuck out and you really need to watch what you say because I'm 'bout ready to slap your ass."
"Slap me."
Chris sighed, throwing his hands up in surrender. "I don't have time for this. Your baby probably not even mines." He spat, bitterly. He said it out of anger. He didn't think he meant it, but truth be told; deep down he always doubted it.
"You're right, it's probably not." Natasha laughed, looking at him up and down then walking away.
