The night was still getting heated as Chris was kissing all over Liana making her moan his name softly. He had taken his shirt off, kicked his shoes off and was on his way to undressing Liana. Everything was going fine until he started to pull her dress off; then, she silently began to freak out. “Wait…” she mumbled, pushing at his shoulders when he climbed between her legs.

“Wait for what?” he asked, his voiced laced with irritation.

“Are we about to have sex?” she asked quietly, watching his irritated expression change to confusion.

“Yes?” he said back, a little unsure. “Don’t you wanna?”

Yes, but um…I can’t…”

“What the fuck? Why can’t you?” Chris huffed, pushing up and staring at her.

“Because I—um—my period is on.” She mumbled, sitting up once Chris got off the bed altogether.

“You playing games Liana.” He mumbled, pulling his shirt back on and walking out the room. Liana rolled her eyes, sighing and pushing her hair back.

Just when she was about to get out of the bed and go find Chris, he came back in the room with his phone out. “Where are you going?” she asked when he started to pull his shoes back on.

“I have something to handle; I’ll be back in like an hour.” He stood up, putting his phone in his pocket and before Liana could object, he was out the door again.

“So, wait, you didn’t tell him you were a virgin?!” Katie asked, laughing when Liana shook her head.

After Chris left, Liana felt a bit played and she called Katie over to keep her company and to tell her what happened. “No, and it’s not funny.” She sighed, shaking her head. “As soon as I told him that I couldn’t have sex with him; he left fast as shit like I had some airborne, fleshing eating disease.”

“Well, as soon as you say the P word, they scatter like roaches.” Katie smiled, shaking her head and checking the time right before Chris waltzed in the house. “Hey, Chris.”

“What’s up.” He mumbled, looking at Liana as she looked down. “What’s wrong with you?” he asked, and when she didn’t answer, he huffed and rolled his eyes. “Liana, do you hear me talking to you?” he asked and still got no reply. He looked at Katie then, frowning a little. “What’s wrong with her?”

“Nothing is wrong with her.” Katie clarified, nudging her shoulder a little. “Right Li?”

“Mhm.” Liana mumbled, getting up and going upstairs. Chris and Katie shared a look before Katie got up and shook her head before leaving out.

Chris sighed, locking the front door behind her and going upstairs. “Liana,” he started, going in her room and sitting next to her on the bed. “what’s wrong?”

“Nothing…” she sighed, looking over at him as he stared at her. They both were quiet for a moment before Liana spoke again. “Where did you go?”

“Nowhere…”

Liana frowned, shaking her head and tilting his head back. “Did you get that hicky from nowhere too?” Chris sucked his teeth, standing from the bed and going to her mirror, staring at the red spot on his neck that his recent fuck buddy gave him against his will. “Don’t act like you care about me and my feelings when you really don’t.” Liana spat, crossing her arms.

“Here you go with this bullshit again…” Chris sighed, turning to look at her. “You’re becoming really annoying.”

“So leave!” she stood up from the bed, pointing to the door and started to walk away until Chris grabbed her arm, smirking. “Get off of me!”

“No.” he pulled her back, kissing her neck and then her lips. “Stop with the attitudes, please?”

“The fuck has an attitude?!” she snapped, pushing him away and laughing out loud when he tackled her on the bed. “You play a whole lot.”

“Shut that shit up.” Chris mumbled, biting on her bottom lip softly before kissing her. Liana smiled, wrapping her arms around his neck and pulling him down so she could kiss him again. “This is why I want to fuck you, Li.” He paused, kissing her lips. “You got some perfect lips.”

Liana smirked, blushing as she looked away from him. “Shut up!” she laughed, shaking her head as she studied his face; taking in his features. “Would you be upset if I said I told you a small lie?”

“It depends…” Chris shrugged. “What was it?”

“Well—” she began, until Chris’ ringing phone interrupted.

“Yo?” he answered, standing from the bed. “Wait—what?!” he froze, frowning a little and turning away from Liana. “You’re fucking lying…”

Liana frowned then, standing as well. “What happened?”

Chris moved away from her, holding his hand up to silence her. “What the fuck?” he mumbled, shaking his head. “Alright, I’m on my way.” He sighed out loud, hanging up and putting his phone in his pocket. “Get dressed and come to the car.”

“What’s going on?” Liana asked frantically as Chris began walking to her bedroom door. “Where are we going, Chris?”

“To the hospital,” he mumbled, clenching his fist. “TJ got shot.”
