“Can you repeat what exactly happened?” Officer Walker asked Katie as she used the remote to adjust the bed a little. Katie stared at him; not sure if she should say anything. She could tell them everything she knew about Chris, but then he’ll probably kill her for snitching. Then again, she was feeling salty about him killing Desmond, but she had to remember if it wasn’t for Chris she would be in a body bag also.

“I don’t know anything.” Katie mumbled, rolling her eyes and moving around a little bit but soon stopped when pain shot through her side.

“So you’re saying you don’t know who murdered the four men in your house, or who shot you?” The officer continued. Katie sighed, all this over Liana, she thought to herself. Part of her wanted to go make things right with Li; but she knew shit was too fucked up. Liana was the type to hold grudges and this was something she definitely wasn’t going to let go easily. Katie shut her eyes and remembered all the memories they had together. They were the best of friends and suddenly Katie felt betrayed. She admits she did some pretty fucked up shit but never would she have put her hands on Liana the way she did her.

Her eyes flashed with hurt. “I don’t know anything, I didn’t see his face.”

“You sure about that? If you’re lying we can charge you also for being an accessory.”

“Listen, all I know is one of the dudes name is Chris…”

“One of? How many were there?”

Katie sighed, looking around the room then looking back at the officer. “There was four of them and if you want information on Chris, ask his girlfriend Liana Scott. I’ll give you her address if you want. Now if you don’t mind, I’ll appreciate it if you leave me alone.”

Chrissssss…” Liana whined, rolling her eyes. Chris chuckled into the phone.

“What?”

“Where are you?”

“Handling business, when I get done I’ll drop by.”

“You’re a bad boyfriend.” Liana pouted, sighing. Chris shook his head as Rashad and the rest of the boys walked through his front door. He nodded to them as they sat down on the couches, sitting the bags they brought in on the floors.

“What’s the plan?” Rashad asked, unzipping one of the duffle bags. Chris put his finger up to his lips, gesturing for Rashad to shut up.

Chrisssss, ugh you’re not even paying attention to me. I’m about go hang up.” Liana sucked her teeth as Chris smacked his lips and rolled his eyes.

“If ya brat ass hang up on me we gone have problems.”

“Nigga why every time we’re taking care of business, you on the phone caking to ya bitch?” Jordan asked, shaking his head.

Chris ignored him, reaching for one of the bags as Liana kept talking his ear off. “Well since your pre-occupied I’ma call up the next nigga and have him take care of my horniness.”

Chris scrunched up his face. “Word?”

“Are you on your way?”

“Nope and just for that little shit you just said, I’ma take longer.”

“We do have business to handle you know.” Jordan pressed, fed up with the lovey dovey shit.

Chris shot him a look. “Nigga what you sitting there for then? Start loading that shit up.”
