The weeks went by, Chris hasn’t seen Liana yet, and he’s been laying low for a minute. He couldn’t go to the hospital and see her because he’s a fugitive now and everybody’s on the hunt for him. If he just roll up in there, he’s gonna get arrested. Alex already called and told Chris that the cops been by three times asking questions and shit. They’ve questioned Daniels too; but of course she played it off as if she didn’t know a thing about anything.

Liana flipped out when she heard He broke out. She was more worried than mad but deep down she wanted him out as much as he wanted himself out. “Come in,” Chris said after somebody knocked on the office door three hard times. TJ walked in with two of the crews’ soldiers Bryan and Kyron. “tell me some good news my nigga.”

“We know where he be chillin at…” Kyron commented, looking at Chris.

“Where nigga?”

“He got a condo up in the hills some place. He got a little bitch too. Want us to snatch her ass up?”

Bryan added smiling, hoping to impress Chris; but his smile soon faded when Chris darted his eyes at him.

Snatch his bitch up? The fuck for? That’s that bullshit. I want him, I ain’t playing no games. Fuck all the kidnapping bullshit. Ain’t no need to involve people that ain’t got shit to do with this.” Chris spat rolling his eyes at Bryan’s stupidity. The room fell silent and everybody looked at each other awkwardly. “Is that it?” Chris asked, raising his eyebrow. Once Bryan and Kyron nodded, Chris rolled his eyes again, growing aggravated with their presence. “Man, write down the nigga’s address on a piece of paper and get out.”

After Kyron wrote down Rashad’s new address and left Chris’ office with Bryan, TJ seated himself, lighting a blunt taking a few hits and passing it on to Chris. “Bruh, you would need the weed to help ya ass calm down, you be spazzing.” TJ mumbled, as Chris refused to take the Blunt from TJ.

“Nah man.” Chris snapped shaking his head and standing up. He grabbed the piece of paper Kyron wrote the address on and headed for the door. “Come on.”

They’ve been sitting outside Rashad crib for hours. There was no car out in the front so they figured he wasn’t home, TJ suggested that they leave and come back later but Chris wasn’t leaving. “We don’t even have any heat with us bruh.” TJ pressed but Chris ignored him as he leaned back in his seat, staring out the window. His eyes were focused on Rashad’s house as his mind grew blank. He was so furious with everything that was happening and that had occurred he didn’t even know exactly how to express it. He just knew mad wasn’t the correct term to explain how pissed off he was.

Chris phone vibrated in his pocket and he didn’t take it out, he let it keep vibrating until eventually it stopped. His phone beeped telling him he had a missed call, then again it rang. Again, he let it vibrate; the buzzing made his thighs shake.

“The fuck…” Chris muttered, as the phone began ringing for the 3rd time. He pulled it out his pocket looking at the caller ID. It was Liana calling from the hospital phone. “Hello?” Chris answered dryly. He actually was excited to hear her voice, but the anger inside him overridden the excitement.

“Baby, oh my god are you okay?” Liana asked as tears rolled down her cheeks.

“Don’t worry about me, are you okay?”

“Yes, I get to go home tomorrow.”

“Where little man at?”

“He’s with my dad. They released him a few days ago. My dad is at home taking care of him. I feel great and my test results are good along with my recovery process so they are letting me go tomorrow.” Liana babbled, she wiped her cheeks and a smile crept on her face when she heard Chris chuckle. “Why you laughing?”
