Accidental Roommate

Part 11

-mistakes everywhere, not edited-

Tee spends time in the library till late because he doesn't has work tonight, he can focus on his assignment.

His phone buzzes because someone is calling him, he doesn't recognise the number so he doesn't care to answer it. He lets the phone buzz more and keep doing his assignment.

After a while the phone stop buzzing, Tee continue to type on his laptop.

"Tee!" Dann greets Tee while panting hard, like someone is chasing after him.

Tee frowns but lend his ears to hear what Dann wants from him. He still one hour left in the library before it is closed.

"Where is your phone?" ask Dann.

Tee glances at his phone hidden under his book, Dann take it and can see two miss called from the unknown number.

"why you don't answer it?" ask Dann scared.

"I don't know the number, wasting my time" response Tee without feeling any guilt.

"This is Phi Tae!" Dann shows the phone with his finger repeatedly. Tee just blinks because he never give his number to Tae before.

"He called me because he can't call you. He asked me when you will be home" Dann act as a messenger for his brother side.

"you give him my number?" ask Tee back without giving any response on what Dann told him.

"Yes! Tee, he is looking for you! Did you do anything wrong at his house? He sounds angry when he called" Dann explains the real situation to Tee, what make him so scared.

Tee shakes his head, he didn't remember if he did anything before he left the house. He just tidy the house and doing his normal chores.

"Let's go back now!" Dann helps Tee to put everything in Tee's bag.

Tee starts to feel nervous too, because if he did anything wrong he will lose a place to stay with the cheap price. He doesn't like Tae much but he doesn't hate Tae too. He already feel comfortable living in that house.

Both of them rush to get home as fast as they can. Tee saves Tae's number in his phone so that he doesn't missed the call again. He needs to show good attitude to make sure Tae make him stay in the house till he graduate.

They arrives at the building, Dann pulls Tee's hand to run with him so that they can arrive at home faster. When they are at the door, Dann press the pass code and enter the house with Tee right at his back.

"You are here" Tae is sitting on the chair waiting for them to be here.

Dann gulps hard while Tee fidgets on his feet.

"Sit!" orders Tae strict

Tee and Dann walks real fast to sit on the couch in front of Tae. Both of them are nervous with what Tae is going to tell them.

"I called you, twice" Tae looks at Tee, asking for answer why Tee let his call unanswered. Tee blinks repeatedly before he try to explain his reason.

"I'm sorry! I don't answer unknown number!" explains Tee scared. His future in on the hold.

"You don't save my number?" ask Tae in unbelievable tone. For him Tee should has his number because he is the owner of the house.

"Already save it" answer Tee timidly. Why Tae is so intimidating right now.

Three of them are silence for two minutes, Dann is scared for himself and Tee. Tae can be a reasonable and unreasonable man like a switch, if Tae is angry, Tee can say goodbye to the house.

"Phi, you can't blame Tee for not answering unknown number because in the past, people called him to collect money from his uncle debt. They sometimes disturb Tee at uni too, that's the reason why Tee never answer unknown number!" explains Dann fast because he wants to protect Tee.

Tee's eyes bulge wide, he was shocked that Dann tell his story to Tae just like that. Tee wants to punch Dann for babbling about his life to a stranger, to a person Tee barely know.

"Dann!" scold Tee angry, he regrets telling Dann about his life, that's why he keep everything for himself. He doesn't want people to know how hard his life is, how bad his relative treated him. He is ashame of it.

"Look, I will leave this house!" Tee stands up fast, he will cut his ties with Dann too.

"Tee! I'm sorry! I, I, I mean nothing bad, I'm sorry Tee!" pleads Dann holding Tee's hand.

He has big mouth but he just wants to save Tee. He never tell about Tee's life to anyone before. Just his brother, today.

Tee insist to leave the house, he tries to snap his hand away but failed. Dann even willing to stand on his knee and beg Tee to forgive him and his big mouth.

"sit down Tee. No one is leaving" Tae's voice is softer than before.

Tee glances at Tae before he looks at pitiful Dann. Tee sits back on the couch, he will teach Dann after they are done.

"I'm sorry!" apologise Dann again, he is almost crying.

"I will talk with you later" Tee is still angry and Dann will not be free easily.

"okay" replies Dann like a lost puppies, Tee almost laugh watching Dann's dejected face.

Tae massage his temple, he wants to discuss about something else, not watching this cheap drama about his brother and Tee. He already has a headache and now this, his head will explode soon.

"Phi, tell us why you called Tee" Said Dann, they have been here for 30 minutes, nothing else come out from Tae's mouth. Why Tae is looking for Tee

"You go home Dann, I want to talk to Tee alone" orders Tae.

Dann and Tee want to object but with just a glare make Dann run away from the house, Dann knows how scary his brother is when he is angry. Tee really being betrayed by his friend for thousandth times.

Tee fidgets on his seat and look down, watching how clean and shiny the floor he mopped everyday.

"I want you to cook for me, breakfast, lunch and dinner" orders Tae.

Tee is stunned, he is shocked that the things Tae wants to discuss with him is about cooking. Really?!

"I don't understand" Tee really doesn't understand what is going on right now.

"Like I said, cook for me, breakfast, lunch and dinner. I will pay you" the sounds of Tae paying him make Tee happy, he will be able to collect more money like this.

"I have classes, I can promise breakfast and dinner, not lunch" said Tee giving his opinion. It's true his uni is close but not like he will go home to cook.

"weekend" replies Tae calmly.

Tee thinks about it for a moment before he agrees to it. He will cook for himself at the same time too. He doesn't need to pay for groceries but able to eat good food. It is a bliss.

They have an agreement like that. Tae gets what he wants.
