Accidental Roommate

The day when their exam finished, Tee already done with his thesis. The last thing he needs to do before he graduated is by doing internship for four months.

He sent out more than ten resumes but none give him positive answers yet, he knows he has good grades, he can't understand why he can't get any interview like other students. Even Dann already has one.

"what are you thinking about Tee?" ask Dann when he see Tee is not happy like him. They had done the hardest part of their semester.

"my internship"

"It's weird that you still didn't get any, with your result alone you will be able to work at prestigious company" Dann feels weird too, compared to his result, Tee is far above him.

"talk to Phi Tae, I'm sure he can help" suggests Dann but Tee rejects it fast. He doesn't need help from Tae.

Tae is home when Tee and Dann are talking, he looks at them both before entering his room, fuming with anger. The slams on the door startle both of them.

"what's with him?" ask Tee annoyed, Dann only can shrug his shoulder, his brother is always angry.

Tee looks at the clock on the wall, it almost dinner time. He needs to cook dinner for everyone, they rarely eat out these days because Tee doesn't want to meet with Kharn. Tee chooses to stay inside all the time, he knows now they are not brothers what else Kharn want from him?

"we will eat out today, go get ready" informs Tae before closing his door back, Tae just finished shower with wet hair and towel on his body.

Tee and Dann looks at each other before they get ready, no one can read Tae's behaviour. Maybe they need a professional to look at Tae to understand Tae more.

The drive to the restaurant is silent, Tee plays with his phone all the way they, he just continue open and close an app to kill the tense in the car. He is not a media social users so he doesn't care about it. Open and close a game he plays to kill time.

They eat at Tae's restaurant, Tae always bring the food home and Tee likes it. He likes the food from Tae's restaurant because it fit his taste bud.

"order anything" tell Tae and three of them make their order.

Tae looks at Dann first, he has been a bit busy lately, doest has time to talk to his brother.

"found a place for internship?" ask Tae to Dann.

"yes phi, a company a bit far from here but I like it. I might need to find a place to rent, it's far to stay at your house" informs Dann. He is together with his other friend, so they decided to stay together.

"okay. Don't worry about money, just tell me if you need anything"

"thank you Phi!" Dann is excited because what he worried about already has a solver.

Tee is silent the whole time, if he can't get internship sooner he might need to postpone his graduation. He can't delay it because he needs to work and pay every debt he has so that he will be able to live freely like others.

"I know you still didn't get any offer because of this" Tae gives an envelope to Tee.

Tee blinks confused, he takes it and open it to see what's inside. It's an offer from a company, Kharn's Company. Tee frowns hard at that, Kharn is working hard to involve with him.

"he is blocking you to other companies because most of them are his friends" explains Tae to Tee, Tee is sad that he get rejected because of this.

"he offers one for you too" Tae gives another envelope to Dann. Dann doesn't bother to open it. Before, he wants to work with his father so that he can make the old man proud but now, he doesn't care. He is tired trying to get attention from that man.

"I don't want to phi" mutters Tee sadly.

Tae smiles and takes Tee's hand in his, Dann feels weird with the atmosphere and wants to run away, so he did that. Running away.

"I have a friend, you can do your internship there if you want. I know you doesn't want to accept my help this way but I'm helping you because father block your way, not because you are not qualified. Give me your resume and I will submit it to him, do you understand?" Tae doesn't want Tee to misunderstood his action.

He is trying to help Tee go through this, his father is smart and influential in his business. It will not easy to find a company without his influence.

Tee takes time to think about it, what Tae said is true, it's not because he is not qualified but because someone plays dirty with him.

"okay. I will email it to you later" Tee agrees at it, he doesn't has time for his ego because his future is more important than that.

Tae smiles when Tee easily agree to accept the help from him.

"but it's not a big company, it is new but promising" add Tae, his friend start the company for two years already and it is growing big everyday.

"I don't mind phi, as long as I can learn something there" answers Tee.

Tee did aim for a big and good company so that he has a brighter future but when he thinks more about it, he wants to has a good  job with good pay that enough for him. He never imagine himself become rich, he just want to has enough and some saving when he faces life crisis.

"good. I don't have much info about this company but this is the flyer about it, you can search from Internet for more information" Tae gives a flyer to Tee.

Tee is surprised that Tae willing to do this much for him, it's different from usual Tae.

"why are you so kind to me lately?" ask Tee curious.

That question makes Tae laugh heartily at that, he thought he shows enough to make Tee understand his intention. Feelings do need to be told because not everyone can understand our actions alone.

"when we want something, we need to be nice" the answer is not enough for Tee to understand, besides he has nothing to give Tae.

"will you ask me to repay back everything like my uncle did?" Tee starts to feel anxious, he needs to be a man that has debt on his shoulder for his whole life

"I want something from you but it's not money. One day, I will make you understand what I want. Don't think about it, once you graduate I will explain everything to you" Tae pats Tee's hair softly and leave. Leaving Tee in confusion becomes his hobby lately.
