Accidental Roommate

Part 34

-mistakes everywhere, not edited-

Sim is weird with Tae sudden changes, a week before Tae will rushes to go home, he even cross his own rules to be punctual and never leave early during his job without unreasonable reasons.

This whole week, Tae reaches his office early and go home late. He is too busy like a president handling a country. Sim didn't feel weird at first because Tae is developing new menus and will open a small coffee shop near a university. He thought Tae is busy with that but all the projects were done two days ago.

Sim can see Tae sitting on his chair at the table doing nothing except playing with his phone. Tae looks busy while doing nothing, if that statement even has logic in it.

Sim decides to knock on the door, it's late in the evening and he wants to go home but he can't leave Tae just like that. Maybe they can hang out at the bar like old time.

To be honest Sim tried to avoid Tae since Godt come into the picture again, Godt presence make him want to run away, his past with Godt will forever stay in his mind.

"Tae" calls Sim when Tae doesn't respond to his knocking.

Tae puts his phone and look at Tae, Sim can clearly see that Tae is tired. The work must take tolled on his body.

"go home, it's late. Your delicious dinner are waiting for you. You loves dinner make by your maid right?" ask Sim act cheerful.

Tae smiles sadly and shakes his head. When he is home he found dinners on the table but he can't eat it, he can't even feels hungry at all. The heartbreak is eating him inside out and he thought he is the strongest men in the world. He can't even fight a heartbreak.

"I'm fine Sim. You can go" Tae knows Sim wants to ask him about why he is like this but he can't tell anyone about what he is feeling. An old man with a heartbreak. So pitiful.

"Let's eat together tonight. Please!" beg Sim, he wants to see Tae eat in front of his eyes. He just saw Tae eat some biscuits and coffees the whole day.

"I'm okay" Tae insist for Sim to leave him alone.

"No. You are not okay and both of us know it. Let's go to your house, refresh yourself and have dinner outside. We will visit bars to find a girl for you tonight" Sim insist to make Tae go with him. Maybe a drunk Tae will tell him what actually happened to make Tae become this way.

Tae sighs, he knows Sim already win this time and maybe a girl can lift his spirit to feel better. Maybe, just maybe. Something to distract him from the pain, alcohol can't help him, maybe girls can?

"Fine" Tae sighs, Sim cheers inside because he won.

They both drive to Tae's house in Sim's car because Tae said he wants to stay outside tonight, maybe a hotel. Sim get what Tae meant, Tae wants to find a girl tonight.

Sim and Tae walk together to the house, Sim enter it first, Sim's feet slip make him wants to fall but Tae catch him making they look like they are hugging. Sim laughs when the same thing happened again, it happened before too because Sim is a bit clumsy.

Tae laughs together with Sim, the old memories coming back to them. Sim stops laughing when he see a boy who are staring at them at the living room. That boy is wearing an apron looking confuse watching them.

"oh, uhm, hi" Sim greets Tee awkwardly. He doesn't know Tae has another brother except Dann. He knows Dann.

Tae stops laughing and look at what Sim greeting, his smile died same goes to his eyes. He let Sim go from his hold, he doesn't realise that Tee is staring at his hand on Sim.

"who is this?" ask Sim confused.

"you can wait in my room" Tae doesn't answer Sim's question, Sim frowns because Tae didn't introduce him and the cute boy.

"I will wait here. You go get ready" Sim pushes Tae away and he happily walk to Tee. Tee is so cute for him that he wants to pinch Tee's cheek. That chubby cheek is calling for him.

"prepare drink to him" orders Tae before he walks away to his room. Tee nods his head slowly.

"hey! I can take my own drink" Sim wants to protest but both Tae and Tew already leave him alone in the living room.

The house is tidy and neat, it's clean and beautiful. Its been so long since he is here because Tae forbid him from coming.

"oh my g!" the reality is coming to Sim's head.

Tee puts the coffee on the table and walk away from there. His dinner will left untouched again tonight.

"you are his maid?!" ask Sim excited. Finally he meet the secret maid, no wonder Tae hides it because it's not a woman but a cute boy.

Sim laughs when he realise how stupid of him for thinking that Tae is living with a female maid. No wonder nothing happened between them, Tee is a man.

Tee can't help but feel disappointed, he knows he is no one but to be called as a maid make him a bit sad.

"what's your name?" ask Sim cheerful, he even pulls Tee's hand to sit with him. He doesn't like coffee so talking with Tee is the best option while waiting for Tae.

"wait, did I know you? I think I saw you before" Sim is thinking hard where he had seen Tee before. He can't recognise Tee clearly because Tee wears mask when he worked at the bar.

"No Phi. I don't know you. I'm Tee and Dann's friend. I live here and work here" answer Tee fast, he doesn't want Sim to realise he is the same man that Tae saved in the bar.

"let's go" Tae is done and ready to go out. Sim and Tee look at Tae when they heard the voice.

"Tae! You shouldn't force Tee to work here, he is your brother's friend" scold Sim for Tae being unreasonable making Tee as a maid.

Sim knows Dann is a student and he thinks Tee is a student too. Tae shouldn't trouble a busy student in their final year.

Tae ignores Sim words and pulls Sim's arm to leave with him. He doesn't want to stay there longer, especially with Sim loud mouth.

Tee watches the closed door silently, he can't say anything nor he can move. He looks around the quiet house.

"I'm just a maid" mutters Tee sadly, he takes off his apron and enter his room. He doesn't has any appetite to eat hi dinner too.
