Chapter 10

I slowly opened my eyes and then looked at the door.

"Alina! Are you there?" oh shocks! I slept.

I immediately woke up and then fixed myself before going out and Petra is still there waiting for me.

"oh, it's already dinner." She said smiling so I smiled and then followed her.

"Alina. Where did you learn your skills? It's so good." I froze and then clenched my fist before I smiled again...

"ah...someone taught me," I said and then just followed her.

"Woah. You're really good you know." She said smiling as I just nod...I have to be good at it or else, I won't survive the underworld...If I am not good at it, I won't be able to be the underground queen.

"tch! Why did you even bother calling her?" ah...this kid...Oluo. If only I can kill him...killing him...sounds fun. I wonder what the captain will think...how he will look like...

Aaaah...how nice if I can see him full of sadness over the death of his member...will he cry?

will he scream in anger...?

will he torture me...or kill me?

heh...it is going to be fun...but I can't do that...not now.

"Oluo! Don't be like that! Alina is also a squad member. Don't treat her like that." Petra said but Oluo just glared at me...

"tch she's just a newbie and a kid!" he said...that's when I just smiled...I'm older than you think...that is why people get in trouble. they judge without facts...just based on what they see. 

Petra...girl...not everything you see is real.

"that's why we have to treat her even better. She's still new and you're already like that to her. She's our sister too!" I gulped and then looked at Petra...

"s-sister?" I said in shock so she looked at me with a smile and then held my hand... 

what the fuck?

it's been so long...since I last heard that...

sister huh?!!

"of course...you are also our member...you can call me big sister." She said smiling..b-big sister? I had the urge to laugh because of this but as I look at her face she looks so sincere...

"you can call Oluo brother too..." she said smiling.

"no way!!!"

"Oluo, Alina is still a kid just like Eren and the others. Why are you so harsh to her?" she said angrily to Oluo...w-wow...a kid...

"I don't want to be her older brother." He said.

"don't mind him Alina...he's just like that. Anyway, you can call me sister and I'll take care of you while we're here." Petra said to me while she's holding my hands.

"now now now, let's go and eat." She said dragging me to the dining hall...
It's been...a while since someone did this to me...dragging me happily...a sister huh?

'I don't want you near to any of them.'

I immediately let go of Petra's hands in her surprise and then I gulped before smiling...

"I...uhmm." She just smiled at me and then again, held my hands dragging me inside. I was so shocked when I saw Levi sitting there too. He looked at us and I can see his glare at us or me. as always, I avoided making eye contact and just let Petra drag me to the other chair...thankfully, Christa and the others are here to ease the awkwardness.

"let's eat," Sasha said excitedly and we all ate...they are having their own conversation and I just stayed silent...

"Alina. You're so quiet. Are you okay?" I felt their gazes towards me and then I looked at whoever asked me that...it's Christa.

"yes I'm fine...don't mind me," I said and then smiled at them.

"really? You can talk to us...you know, maybe we can help you." Armin smiled at me as he said those words...
I then gulped and then bowed my head...not knowing how I should react.

"a-ah...I'm done...I'll take my leave first," I said, and then I immediately left. I walked outside and then looked above. 

Stars...

"I told you to stay away from them."

 I froze when I heard that familiar cold voice. I clenched my fist and then spoke.

"it's them who keeps on talking to me," I said in a matter-of-fact tone. Is it my fault that his kids are all talking to me?

"I don't fucking care. Just stay away from them." He said...the fuck is wrong with him? It's not like I want to associate myself with them.

I didn't say a word and instead, I turned around walking past through him going back inside.

I'm seriously pissed off.

I started avoiding those kids...Levi isolated me...and I isolated myself too...the only person I can freely talk to is Hanji.

"Alina, are you okay?" here comes that question again...it's been days, and can't they get that I don't wanna talk to them?

Who asked me this time? It's Reiner...as always, I smiled and then said yes before walking away.

"Alina!!" I looked at whoever that is...it's Hanji.

"Hanji," I said to her and she smiled at me, holding my hands.

"How are you?" she asked smiling so I just smiled.

"I'm fine," I said, and then she dragged me towards somewhere.

"don't you think something is wrong with Alina?" Christa asked in a very concerned tone so the rest of them looked at her and then sighed.

"well...she won't talk to any of us anymore unless we talk to her and she always finds excuses to go away," Armin said.

"maybe...something is troubling her?" Bertholdt asked so they sighed.

"she won't speak no matter how much we ask her."

This was heard by Oluo and the rest of Levi's squad who happened to be looking for Alina.

"tch. Just let her be!" Oluo said and then walked away too.

"that Oluo! Still angry at Alina because she defeated him." Gunther said and then shook his head.

"I was wondering too...how she can defeat Oluo. We know Oluo is a bit arrogant but you know, he's still an elite soldier." Eld said...they all looked in the direction of Oluo.

"well. I'll try to talk to her later...you know since I already said she's our sister." Petra said with a smile so they all nodded their heads.

"Oi shitheads. Where are the others?" they all widened their eyes and then saluted to the Captain who is, as usual, glaring at them.

"w-we don't know Captain," Armin said so Levi knitted his eyebrows then looked at everyone.

"find those brats." He said and they all nodded their heads before going to where Oluo went and then the others try to find Alina.
