Chapter 28

"Alina!"

they looked at Alina who stormed into the kitchen with a blushing face and her clothes aren't fixed. They looked at her in shock and wonder.

"What happened?! Did something happen?!"

the others panicked.

"w-water!" she immediately said and they gave her water and she gulped it immediately...

"Hey, what's wrong?! Why are you acting like that?" Sasha asked her.

"weren't you with the Captain and Connie? Did something happen?!" Eren asked her and they looked at her...

"there is!! That bastard!!!" she shouted in their surprise...she immediately fixed her clothes gritting her teeth in annoyance.

"w-what?" Christa asked her but before she can reply, someone spoke.

"Oi." They all looked at the door and Connie are standing there, just behind Levi who is looking at them. Eren immediately gulped and Alina clenched her fist.

They looked at Alina and then at the captain and at Connie who shrugged...

"Follow me," he said and they all followed him. They sat around the table and Levi swept his hand under the table and Eren panicked inside. He looked at his hand, dusty, and then wiped it with a handkerchief as he speaks. Hanji and some of the scouts are also there at the other table listening to them.

"you should have had plenty of time." He said and they gulped...nervously.

"well...nevermind that. We'll talk about your lax cleaning job later. Right now, we need to get organized and plan our next move." With that, they all looked at him seriously.

"Even after what happened, our goal is still to seal the hole in Wall Maria." He said.

With that, they began discussing the plan. That is, to travel with horses in a small group during the night, preferably cloudy to avoid titans, and then seal the wall in a matter of even less than 24 hours.

"but...this sounds like a dream," Armin said...

"whether that dream can be made real depends on this guy," Levi said looking at Eren.

"yes sir! I understand." Eren said.

"hear that Hanji? He's for it. and you're the one choosing the location of our experiment." Levi said turning to Hanji.

"yes of course. It's my duty as long as I'm alive." Alina looked at Hanji and then at Eren hoping that this kid won't mess up again.

"We have to take action immediately...but I still want Eren to lay low." She said...the others looked at him and Eren widened his eyes.

"What?!" he asked her.

"why?" Even Armin asked her.

"The situation seems to be more complicated than we imagine." She said...

"huh, from the moment you came here, it looked like you've on the edge like you're holding in a shit," Levi said.

"you've still got that look on your face so why do we need to keep the experiment inside? Tell me, Hanji," he added.

"Minister Nick is dead." She said in their surprise.

"that...wallist?" Alina asked and she nodded.

"he was found dead this morning...inside the Trost district barracks. I don't know the cause of death but I know he was murdered." She said and then tell them what happened when she went to the barracks earlier, Nick was tortured by the MP before they killed him.
