Clozy's Coffees Reboot

 It was another day in the well-known Clozy's Coffees, with Hailey Austin taking orders and getting bored of the "Karens", as what the Americans call them. Those type of people always demanded to speak to Hailey's manager when they don't get their way. Either way, Hailey was tired of it. All Hailey wanted to do was get a good high paying job but she had to work in this coffee shop before she could think about pursuing her dreams. It was a day off for students in Lunime University. It went to the point where a certain boy would keep on walking in almost every day, from a rival university.

Their first encounter was Hailey seeing the boy with his girlfriend...or at least she thought that the woman was his girlfriend. They always walked into the coffee shop together and bought similar things. The boy was quite nice...despite his appearance in a form of a stereotypical bad boy with a buzzcut, piercings and a smirk on his face. The girl seemed a lot nicer though with her snow-white hair, bright blue eyes and always a cheerful smile on her face.

There were a bunch of other...strange people too. A young man who seemed to always have bad luck followed him around, along with presumably, his girlfriend, who seemed to manage to get him out of bad luck all the time. There was another Japanese-British boy along with his girlfriend who's studying to become an animator. How did Hailey know all of this?

The young man filled with bad luck always almost spilt his coffee but his girlfriend managed to get it away on time. The Japanese-British boy was always kind and his girlfriend was quite shy but always carried a sketchbook around her. Sometimes the girl would show some doodles and Hailey would catch them in the corner of her eyes.

It was just another day when the bad boy walked in again, with his girlfriend...or at least Hailey thought that the woman was his girlfriend.

"Hey princess, you know what I want by now," The bad boy stated, making Hailey roll her eyes. She then looked at the white-haired girl, who was smirking and nudging the boy.

"Okay, and what does your girlfriend want? The usual?" Hailey replied curtly while giving a raised brow. The supposed girlfriend seemed ready to burst with laughter and the bad boy just smirked.

"Jake, you owe me 5 pounds now," the white-haired girl stated happily to her supposed boyfriend, who now Hailey knew as Jake.

"Okay, you guys are so lucky this wasn't a busy day," Hailey thought in her head before rolling her eyes and putting in the usual order for the two customers.

"Princess, Daisy isn't my girlfriend, she's my best friend," Jake stated with a smirk and the white-haired girl, Daisy, just held back her laughter as much as she could.

"This isn't my business but you want the usual, right?" Hailey asked once again, making the two customers nod. Hailey gave a small smile as she filled in the words for another staff to get the orders.

Little did Hailey know, Jake was trying his best to ask the barista for her phone number. Mainly because one, Jake recognised the woman as the girl who helped him out when he was younger and two, Jake wanted to reconcile with her step-brother for being a douche to him before.

"You know the price by now, thanks for coming to Clozy's Coffees," Hailey said in a monotone voice but something came over her. The bad boy always seemed like a nice person, despite his appearance. She noticed that the boy and his best friend were still standing there, whispering to each other. "Now you two want something from me, don't you?"

"Yes! Jake wants your phone numbe-" before Daisy could finish her sentence, Jake quickly covered the white-haired girl's mouth and his face turning pink. Hailey just wrote down her phone number on the coffee cup that she knew Jake liked.

"If you wanted it, you could've just asked me, you know?" Hailey stated in a somewhat monotone voice but her mouth betrayed her and gave a small smile.

"Thanks...Hailey, see you again tomorrow," Jake stated with a wink making Hailey roll her eyes.

That was the day Hailey had made contact with her future husband.

Bad memes aside, this was my English work thing so I decided to rewrite Clozy's Coffees. However, I originally wanted to make a Sean x Alina one shot but it was pretty much Healing in a nutshell so I didn't continue writing that. Anyway, I hope you guys like this.
