 "Hello, guys and welcome back to JakeVlogs, today we have a special guest, the great Hailey from VeeaVA!" Jake stated at the camera, with a blue-haired woman waving her hand sheepishly in the background. The woman didn't do a lot of the videos alone so she decided to ask her good friend, Jake, to start a small vlog with them? What could possibly go wrong?

It started with Jake's attempt to prank at the blue-haired woman, which she dodged in an instant.

"HAILEY YOU-" Jake almost cursed but he remembered how the GachaTube demonetisation system worked. Hailey was in the background, laughing and squealing like an idiot. Hailey decided to take the camera when Jake wasn't looking and ran off, hearing Jake's angry noises going quieter and quieter.

Soon enough, after all the filming, editing and rendering, the video was up on GachaTube under the name JakeVlogs, Jake's secondary channel. Soon enough, everyone in the comments was commenting more for the series, just the two hanging out and goofing around was funny to the viewers. There's a small minority who ships them but no one cares about them. The video turned into one of the most popular videos on Jake's channel, even getting number 1 on trending in the United Kingdom. With the views and the fair share amount of money, Jake and Hailey decided to do another episode.

That episode turned into 8 more episodes in a span of 6 months. The two had tours to do, bands to sing in and songs to create so they couldn't upload as much as they wanted. However, Jake and Hailey had been friends since their Sixth Form years, thus being able to connect and get along as a duo well on camera, even inviting the other band members and Jake's ex-girlfriend and best friend, Daisy in. It was mainly the duo, Jake and Hailey, that got the most views out of all the videos. However, it was fun while it lasted until the tenth episode came...on Valentine's Day.

Hailey wasn't aware of this but Jake had been planning to ask her out for a while, asking Hailey's stepbrother, Zander and Zander's boyfriend, Luke for help on how to set up the question. The two were too busy laughing as they remembered back in their Sixth Form years where Jake would try to be smooth to Daisy and it was hilarious. However, feelings change over time and Jake soon fell in love with the girl who had been there for him a lot, the person Jake's fake friend, Drew, called his "music girlfriend." Zander then decided to tell Jake to just be himself because he knew that his stepsister always liked Jake in a romantic way.

"Hey guys, today we're setting up a surprise for Hailey for Valentine's Day. So let's get buying!" Jake stated, getting everything ready while attempting to film some of the footage. He planned to not film the confession but will announce if the surprise made Hailey happy or not afterwards. Zander, Luke, Sean, Millicent and Daisy came to help Jake with the small surprise. A beautiful handmade locket with the photo of the two in the Battle of the Bands. It was the perfect gift to confess with, at least that was what Jake thought.

"Hailey, we're not filming this par-" Jake stated, it was time for the confession and Jake didn't want to film it. However, the camera was still rolling, not intending to stop anytime soon.

"Sorry Jake but the camera is still rolling, what do you have to say to me?"

Jake handed Hailey a small gift box with a note on it.

"The note says...'I love you, Hailey, will you go out with me?'" Hailey read out loud and realised what this means. This is why Jake didn't want to film it. He didn't want to think that he was using her for clout.

"Jake...my answer is..."
