It's been years since the two got together and they may have their ups and downs but they always managed to pull through in the end. Jake and Hailey may have argued once in a while but they managed to make up at the end, with the wrong party apologising. It's been years since the two graduated.

Jake was planning to propose to his long-time girlfriend but wanted to discuss with Hailey's family first, including Zander and Bethany. Michael Austin at first didn't like Jake but they ended up bonding soon enough. 

"Sir, I'm planning to propose to Hailey, what kind of ring does she like?"

This made Michael Austin remembered the old days when he was just as nervous, asking for his late wife's hand in marriage.

Michael Austin always wanted the best for his daughter. When he met his first wife, she was nothing but a pure-hearted soul and their daughter was exactly the same. Unfortunately, Hailey's mother died in an accident at work. Michael was devastated and took years to move on, watching as Hailey grew up and getting reminded of his late wife. When Michael met his current wife, who recently got divorced, he felt like he was talking to his late wife rather than Zander's mother. And sometimes she would come over to see and talk to Hailey, with Hailey calling her "mama" once in a while.

After all the tragedy, Michael remembered one thing clear before the family moved to their current town. Hailey wanted to meet her pen pal, named Jake. Hailey was more than happy to see Michael's new wife and have two siblings, Alexander and Bethany. Hailey was happy that she has a mother that will stay with her and despite her biological mother's death, her stepmother was just as pure and kind-hearted and loved her the same as her biological children.

Michael remembered Hailey coming home smiling with a dark blue jacket. When questioned, Hailey replied that it was "Jake's jacket," which always made Michael felt odd since he always heard Zander ranting about Jake. What was even stranger was that Zander was coming home late, with a text saying he's going to Luke's place.

After the band competition, Jake walked Hailey to the car and the two held each other's hands. Michael was shocked that the boy Zander hates a lot was holding hands with his daughter. Hailey was growing up so fast...

"Uh, sir? What's your answer?" Jake asked, making Michael snap out of his flashback. He gave a smile and stated the words Jake will never forget.

"You don't need a perfect ring for my daughter, she'll love it regardless. Go with something within your budget but still beautiful."

Jake nodded and walked out of the house making Michael smile slightly. Then in the corner of his eye, he could see his wife smiling as well. Then Luke walks into the house with a ring box in his hand and looked just as nervous as Jake was before.

"Well future son-in-law, Zander just went to your parent's house," Michael stated making his wife smirk and Luke flushed in embarrassment.

Carol and Drew were accompanying Alina around in a scavenger hunt. There were clues in many places all around the areas, with notes stating the clues for the locations. Then Alina reached the park, the same park where she confessed her love to Sean, the same park where he accepted her confession.

"Are you guys sure you don't wanna come with me?" Alina turned to Carol and Drew, who just smiled.

"No, it's fine. Now go!" Carol responded and pushed Alina into the park, making Drew facepalm.

"I get that you're excited dear but calm down," Drew stated to Carol, which just made her jump up and down in excitement.

Drew wouldn't like to admit it but he's been trying to find a good time to ask Carol to be his wife but everyone else seemed to be proposing on the days or a big event was happening before he could.

Sean was sitting with Daisy at the park. In his hands were a beautiful flower, the one he knows Alina loves, and a ring box. Daisy had planned a scavenger hunt, to make sure Alina would walk around and get clues to end in the park.

"Daisy, I can't thank you enough, you've been a great friend to me."

"Sean, it's fine. Go propose to Alina! She'll be here in a bit."

Daisy stood up and ran away with a smile, her boyfriend waiting on the other side of the park.

"Jake, why did you ask me to meet you here?" Hailey asked as she looked around in one of her favourite areas, the grassy area beside a river, near the expensive ice cream place.. Jake just smiled and got down on one knee and pulled out a ring box.

"Hailey, the love of my life, will you marry me?"
