Valentine's Day Drabbles

Alina had always hated Valentine's Day. No one tried to get her anything sincere due to her cousin, Zoey. However, this year was...different to say the least. It was a few months after the band competition. Jake Sterling and Hailey Austin had gotten together, making some people confused. There were rumours spreading that Jake Sterling and Daisy had broken up but Jake quickly cleared it up by stating: "Daisy and I never dated and please, mind your business."

Alina wanted to ask her crush, Sean Everett out on a date on Valentine's Day. The day before Valentine's Day, however, Sean rushed to Alina with a happy smile.

"Daisy accepted my confession!" Sean looked like he was over the moon. Alina just smiled and nodded at him. Behind the masked smile, Alina wanted to cry slightly. The guy she liked is now with the girl of his dreams.

"That's great Sean, I told you!" Alina replied with a teasing smile making Sean laugh slightly. He then walked off into the distance, probably telling his bandmates about the good news.

Alina just stood there and Carol noticed Alina was standing still, not moving with a masked smile on her face. Carol quickly ran to Alina with a small smile and dragged her away, finding ways to distract the girl from the heartbreak.

It was Valentine's day at school, with Sean and Daisy sitting on a bench in the garden with a smile on their faces. However, before the time it came, Sean noticed something was off about his good friend, Alina. Alina has been avoiding him lately or talking to him less and less. Maybe she wanted to give Sean space but Sean didn't like the fact that his friend was avoiding him.

"Hey Daisy, I noticed something's off with my friend, she hasn't talked to me lately ever since I've asked you out," Sean stated out of nowhere making Daisy tilt her head in confusion.

"Maybe she wanted to give you space, she'll come around eventually," Daisy replied with a sad smile. She hated seeing her boyfriend being sad and she wanted to cheer him up in whichever way she could. 

"Thanks, Daisy, now let's get going,"

Drew was walking towards his locker to see Zoey kissing Draco Harris on the cheek. He froze and he felt his eyes widened and his fists clenching. He was ready to yell and Zoey right away before he felt a hand on his shoulder. Drew quickly turned around to see the one and only, Carol. Her eyes were blank but Drew could sense some worry in her. She may be the same age as him but she's a year ahead, making Drew feel somewhat intimidated.

"Look, if you hurt her, you'll get in trouble, just talk it out," Carol stated before walking off into the distance. Drew felt the heat rise up to his cheeks before walking towards Zoey. When Zoey heard the footsteps, she turned around and froze. Draco raised his brow before looking at Drew right in the eyes.

"So, Jake was right all along, you got anything to explain here, Zoey?" Drew asked coldly and cut Zoey off before she could say anything. "We're over, Zoey."

Drew walked off into the distance and he could've sworn he saw some sort of sadness in the upperclassman's eyes when Drew broke up with Zoey.
