Chapter Twelve

Ever since Sean died and came back to life he has been feeling a little left out and all alone because he is the only one of his species. When he woke up he walked downstairs then poured himself a drink then sat down on the couch to relax. A few minutes later and Jayda walked out of the guest room then sat down next to Sean to talk with him. "It's a bit early for that don't you think," Jayda said "it's been a crazy couple of weeks" Sean replied "how's Dylan doing" "what do you mean" "you all killed your mom. I imagine he isn't doing great". Their conversation was soon interrupted by everyone else walking downstairs so Sean quickly finished his drink. He welcomed everyone then stood up and walked to the other room followed by Jayda. Once they were away from everyone Jayda started talking with Sean again about something important. "So I was thinking," Jayda said "about what," Sean asked "now that you guys are safe you could live a normal life" "what are you saying" "would you like to be my date to the Founder's Day party". Sean thought for a moment but before he could say anything Jayda reminded him how his family is one of Pawtucket's founding families meaning he should go. After Jayda said that Sean rolled his eyes then agreed to be Jayda's date for the upcoming celebration. While Jayda and Sean were talking everyone else sat down and started talking to each other. "What are we going to do with the golden arrow," Michael said "I don't know but we can't keep it. Someone could use it to kill Sean," Arianna said "why don't you look for a spell to destroy it" "alright". Before they finished talking Dylan tried to get a word in but he kept getting interrupted by Michael and Arianna and once they finished talking Sean and Jayda walked back into the living room. Once they were all together Michael told them how they would have to find a way to destroy the golden arrow before someone gets it. As soon as they finished talking they went on with their day leaving Dylan alone with nothing to say.

Back In New Orleans

Once Edna found out the truth about Michelle and Dylan she would go to the cemetery to think about what to do with Jayda and the other abominations. She sat down on a bench and began thinking then all of a sudden Carter walked by her then sat down next to her. "Hey Edna, what's up," Carter asked "my friend was killed" Edna answered "is there anything you need" "all I need is for her murders to be punished" "could I help you" "I can handle this by myself" "you sure". Edna thought for a moment then asked Carter if he knew any spells to curse someone or strip them of their magic. Before Carter could say anything Edna quickly asked if he could help her with her plan to get rid of all of the monstrosities. "I'm a little confused about the plan. What do you consider a monstrosity," Carter said, "anything that doesn't belong," Edna said "don't you think your plan is a little dangerous" "not if I have enough people who would like to help her". Then Edna explained how all of the abominations are leeches to society especially the Mercados and they need to be taken down. While they were explaining everything Edna told Carter how Jayda killed her friend Emma and the Mercados killed her friend Michelle. "Wasn't Michelle living here under a fake name" Carter asked "I'm sure she had a good reason. It was probably to protect herself from her children" Edna answered, "alright fine I'll help". After they finished talking Edna mentioned how Michelle might have some spells to curse someone. Carter then started thinking about what Edna said and planned to sneak into Michelle's old house to grab some of her things. "This whole thing happened with the first hybrid," Edna said "what are you talking about," Carter asked "Michelle's ex-husband was the world's first werewolf-vampire hybrid and the father of Michael, Arianna, Sean, and Dylan". When Edna said that she then explained how Mike became the first hybrid and the immortality spell. Before she could say anything else Carter said goodbye then walked away thinking about what to do.

1019 Years Ago

After their parents were murdered by werewolves Abraham, Jonah, Talia, and Mike were never the same. Mike completely stopped using his magic and the other three stopped trying to tap into their magic because there was no point. When Mike noticed more people dying due to the werewolves he decided it was time to do something about but he wasn't strong enough. Before the next full moon, Mike decided to talk with Abigail Erickson to help him with a powerful spell. "Good evening Abigail," Mike said "what is it, Michael," Abigail said "please call me Mike. I require your help" "what's the matter" "as you know the wolves are going on a rampage. They must be stopped" "we haven't enough magic to do so" "then help me". Then Mike asked Abigail to help with a spell to make himself and his siblings stronger, faster, and better than the werewolves. "I can't do that. Nature won't allow it," Abigail said "you must. Or the wolves' next victim might be you" Mike replied "alright fine. I'll help you". After they finished talking they went their separate ways to gather a few ingredients for the immortality spell. A couple of hours later and they were ready to cast the spell so Mike lured his siblings into Abigail's house. Once they were all together Abigail brought in the doppelgänger Hestia to use her blood for the spell. When they had everything they needed Hestia left in a rush then Mike and his siblings drank the concoction. Then Abigail used Abraham's sword to kill him then she killed Talia then Jonah and finally she killed Mike. Instead of looking for someone for them to feed on she sat down and waited for them to wake up. While she was waiting she cut her wrist so they could feed on her and as soon as they all woke up she forced them to feed on her blood. As they were feeding black veins appeared under their eyes, they grew fangs, and the white part of their eyes turned red. "It is done," Abigail said "what have you done to us brother," Jonah asked, "it is because of him you four no longer have to be afraid".
