Chapter Fifty-Three

It was late one night and everything was silent except for the sound of Jayda screaming in pain while everyone tried to help her. Everybody scrambled around the room as Sean grabbed his fiance's hand and told her everything would be okay. "JUST TAKE IT OUT ALREADY" she yelled "you have to keep pushing. I know you can do this. You're stronger than you think" he replied "I can't do this. I can't do this" "yes you can. Start believing in yourself and push already". While the both of them talked and Jayda tried to push her baby out everyone else ran around the house to look for some towels and water. The female siphoner continued pushing and screaming until her baby was finally almost halfway out of her. "Come on you can do this" Sean cheered "no I can't. Please help me" Jayda cried "you don't need my help. You can do this" "you're right. I can do this" "that's the spirit. Now stop talking and push. You're almost done". Fifteen minutes of pushing later and the baby was halfway out so Sean pulled her out and cut the umbilical cord. After he did that he started cleaning his baby off while everybody else cleaned up Jayda. Once the baby was clean Sean turned around and sat down next to his fiance while holding their child. The two parents smiled and kissed each other and then Michael walked in with the triplets in his hands. Before anybody could do anything someone walked inside of their house and grabbed the new baby. Everyone watched and did nothing but Jayda tried to fight back even though she knew she didn't stand a chance. "SEAN YOU HAVE TO DO SOMETHING" she yelled "no I don't," he said "but he's taking out baby" "this was always bound to happen" "don't let them take Claire. Please don't take my baby" "everything will be okay". Jayda yelled and cried and then all of a sudden she woke up and realized it was all just a bad dream. Since she couldn't go back to sleep she woke up her fiance to tell him about the crazy dream she had.

As soon as Sean woke up he asked Jayda if she was feeling okay so she said she was fine just before telling him about the dream. She told him that in her dream she gave birth to their daughter and then someone took her. "That would never happen. I wouldn't let anyone take our child" Sean said "in the dream, you said that it was bound to happen" Jayda said "maybe this means our daughter will always be a target due to her power" "we can't let that happen" "I know". Both of them kept talking about the baby and then Jayda said that the immortals might try to come after their future daughter. Right after she said that Sean laughed and said they'll kill the immortals before their children are born. "Maybe we should postpone the wedding," she said "we aren't doing that. We deserve to get married and be happy," he said "yeah but I don't want anyone getting hurt because of us" "everyone here can handle themselves" "yeah that's true". They both talked for a little while longer until Jayda began getting hungry so they went into the kitchen. Shortly after they made it into the kitchen Sean handed her a plate of food for both of them and then he grabbed a blood bag. While they were eating their breakfast Jayda started thinking about the dream and the immortals. Her thinking later stopped when Sean grabbed one of her hands and started telling her to stop worrying. Even though Jayda knew their daughter wouldn't be born for at least another year she was still scared. Since she was still worried and nervous Sean took her plate of food and talked about their wedding. "Aren't you excited about our big day" he asked "yeah but what about our daughter" she responded "let's not worry about that right now. Instead we could worry about our wedding" "I still don't think we should do it today". Because they were so busy talking about everything going on they didn't notice their family and friends walk in. When they finally noticed them Jayda immediately told them about the dream she had and how the immortals could be connected.

While the stressed and worried siphoner explained to everyone how the immortals might come after her kids they all sat down and kept listening. She kept talking and then someone knocked on the front door so Sean let his two friends inside. "What's going on," Raul asked "Jayda had a bad dream and now she thinks the immortals are after our kids" Sean answered "maybe she's stressed about the wedding" "I mean who wouldn't be. Do you think you can calm her down". Instead of responding Raul put his things down on the couch and then went into the kitchen where Jayda was still talking. Just before Jayda could finish her sentence Raul grabbed her and went into the living room to talk in private. "The immortals aren't after your kids. You need to stop stressing about everything and worry about the wedding," said Raul "you don't know what I'm going through," said Jayda "that may be true but I do know you. You're strong" "I can't right now". Right after she said that she walked into the other room so Sean followed her to try and calm her down. He sat down next to his fiance and started talking with her about everything going on including the dream. Sean told his fiance that she worries too much and if she doesn't stop they'll have to cancel the wedding. After he said that Jayda quickly apologized and then they both started kissing each other slowly. They kissed for a couple of more minutes and that's when Raul walked into the room and saw them. Once that happened he said sorry and left so Jayda and Sean went back to talking about their wedding. "I know you're still upset so I want to ask you something," he said "okay" she replied "do you still want to get married today" "of course I do but what if something happens" "nobody here will let anything happen" "yeah you're right". Both of them went back to kissing and when they were done they walked into the kitchen to talk to everyone else. Shortly after they both walked in Susan walked towards Jayda and then went with her into the living room.
