Chapter Forty-Three

Because Brian and Jackson were dead the three remaining hunters ran to their van but they couldn't stop crying. All three of them sat down in the back and cried over what happened with the evolved werewolves then Maggie began talking. "They need to pay," she said "I totally agree with you," Ronal said "I don't care what we do but they're going to pay" "we might need some help then" "there could be a few witches that might help" "I don't think anybody would help". They continued talking while Noah just stood there in silence until his friends stopped planning so he looked at them and joined in. He said they could force a witch to help them with the Mercados since Maggie's blood is deadly to them. "That might work," said Maggie "We can't let the Mercados get away with this" Noah cried "we won't. All of them are going to pay for what they did" "and what about Samantha" "I don't care about her anymore. Samantha dies too". Since they were talking pretty loud some people that were walking to their car heard them so both of them walked closer to the van. Once the two young men made it over to the van one of them grabbed his boyfriend and asked if they could leave. Instead of leaving, they opened the van and that's when they saw the three crying supernatural hunters. The three hunters looked at both of the boys and before they could do anything the hunters walked out of their black van. Everybody looked at each other then the three hunters began talking to each other about what was going on which confused the boys. "You could help us" Ronal smiled "what does that mean," one of the boys asked "we lost two friends and now we need two more" "I'm sorry but we aren't interested" "it wasn't a request" "we should get going" "but we just started talking" "I'm so sorry". Right before the young male couple could walk away Maggie grabbed a stake and stabbed both of them in the leg. They screamed in pain then it was silent when the supernatural huntress used her stake to kill them.

The Present

When it was finally morning the Mercados and their friends woke up, got ready, and walked into the kitchen to grab some food. As soon as they all made it into the kitchen Sean started making some breakfast for himself and everybody else in the house. "Today's that day" Arianna smiled "okay so what's so special about today," said Michael "today we're going to get the cure" "we still haven't finished making the map" "then let's hurry up and finish this already" "alright calm down". The two of them continued talking about the cure and the map until Samantha walked in with a couple of things that she got from her office. She then sat down next to Arianna just before talking to her about everything else they would need for the map. "Later today we need to get Ronal and the sword," the professor said "the sword might be easy but I don't know about Ronal" the tribrid replied "maybe you could use your magic to get him" "that might work" "alright good". Once they finished talking Sean handed everybody a plate of food then he sat down next to his oldest brother. Right after he sat down to eat his food Michael faced his brother and took him into another room to talk in private. Now that they were alone Michael could talk to his brother about how they could sneak out and kidnap Ronal to get the cure. Before Sean could respond to his older brother Michael said if they get the hunter they could find the cure a bit faster. While they were talking Sean sat down and told his brother that he doesn't want to leave Jayda alone. The moment he said that Michael rolled his eyes and said they need to get the cure for immortality. "Don't you think I know that" Sean said "Jayda will be fine" Michael said "alright fine I'll help you get Ronal" "thank you. Try not to kill anybody. I don't want to deal with a suicidal quadbrid" "don't worry about me" "okay let's go". After their conversation ended Sean rushed into his room to grab a few things then he came back. Once they were both together they talked for a little while longer then they left the house to find Ronal and the other hunters.

"Samantha wasn't at her house" Maggie groaned "don't worry about that. We'll find her" Ronal said "we better find her" "we will find her. She'll pay for what she did to Brian and Jackson" "I know. I can't believe she did that". The both of them continued talking for a little while longer until Ronal started talking about the Mercados. He said how the professor might be with the Mercados planning how to find the cure for immortality. After he said that Maggie quickly agreed with him so now they needed to figure out how to stop the Mercados and their friends. Since they were busy talking they didn't notice Michael and Sean walk over to the last three hunters. "It's good to see you three" Michael smiled "you have some guts to come over here and talk to us," Noah said "yeah but you see the problem with that is that I don't really care" "get out of here NOW" "we need something first" "and what's that" "Ronal". Before Noah could say anything else Michael ran over to him while Sean held him down then he ripped his head off. Once he killed the hunter the remaining two back up and looked at them with a little bit of fear in their eyes. Michael looked at them with blood all over him just before asking for Ronal to come with him or he would Maggie too. Right after he said that Ronal looked at him and quickly agreed to go with him as long as they left his friend alone. Instead of fighting about what happened Michael and his brother grabbed the powerful hunter then they left. While they were walking Ronal began asking the two Mercados a few questions about what they needed him for. "Why do you think we need you" Michael mocked "you want me for the cure" "yes we do" "what are you going to do with the cure" "I'm sorry but we can't tell you" "if you're going to kill me then you might as well tell me". Even though Ronal was a little bit afraid he tried to act confident so the two Mercados would know he's afraid. Fourteen minutes later and they finally made it to the house so they knocked Ronal out then they went inside.
