Chapter Forty-Five

When Jayda and her boyfriend finally woke up after a long night they kissed each other slowly then Sean tried to get out of bed but she pulled him back. Both of them smiled then went back to kissing until Sean tried to leave the bed again but his girlfriend wouldn't let him. "We really should get ready and see the others," he said "they'll be fine. Just stay in bed with me," she said "as tempting as that sounds I still think we should get dressed" "let's just stay in bed for a while". Instead of making his girlfriend upset Sean just stayed in bed with her and then kissed her again and more passionately than before. Their kissing later stopped when Jayda started talking about the cure and their new future together. "I want to get married" "Jayda said "so do I but I want to wait until the right time," Sean said "when will be the right time" "I don't know" "as long as I'm with you I'll be alright" "I feel the same way as you" "maybe after this we could get some breakfast". Right after Sean agreed with her they continued talking for a few more minutes then they went back to kissing. They kept kissing each other then all of a sudden Sean's phone started ringing so he ignored it. He continued kissing his girlfriend but his phone continued ringing so he stopped kissing her and answered it. Once he answered the phone he started talking with his uncle Jonah for a little while then he hung up. After he hung up the phone he went back to kissing his girlfriend but she stopped him to talk. She told him that she's afraid she'll get hurt by the hunters because of what they did to all of them. "What do I need to do to make you forget about the hunter," Seam asked "you could kiss me a little lower" Jayda answered "how about we take this somewhere else" "like where" "maybe the library" "but what about everyone else". Right after she said that Sean quickly agreed then they went back to fooling around not caring what the others would hear. Since they were being pretty loud everybody else left the living room and walked into the kitchen to talk.

Everybody grabbed some food and began eating while Raul talked about the cure and what they would have to do in the future. He said how he's really excited to start his new life but he's also very nervous about his new life as an evolved werewolf. "Everything will be fine. None of us will let anything happen to you" Arianna said "yeah I know" Raul said "why don't you go grab us some bourbon" "yeah no thanks" "alright fine I'll go get it" "thank you" "yeah no problem. Bye". After she left everyone else started talking about how Jayda's blood is now the cure so they need to protect her just in case somebody tries to take it. Once all of them agreed to protect Jayda, Arianna walked into the kitchen with a bottle of bourbon. "Have any of you guys heard from Samantha" Arianna asked "no why" Dylan replied "she was supposed to text me today but she hasn't yet" "maybe she's just sleeping in" "do you think I should check on her" "no I don't". Instead of listening to her brother Arianna went into her room to get ready to meet up with the professor. Shortly after she left Michael began talking about the hunters and then he mentioned the two immortals. He said that maybe they should go to the island to make sure the immortals are still there or if they escaped. All of them agreed with him but Dylan still believes that the hunters won't come after them again. While they were talking Arianna was finishing up getting ready until she was finally dressed and ready. Once she was ready she walked back into the kitchen to say goodbye to her friends but Michael stopped her. "Samantha is fine," he said, "you say that but I have this weird feeling," his sister said, "okay you may be right. Just be careful" "I know that already" "okay well bye" "bye. Keep Jayda safe" "okay also hurry back" "alright bye". Right after they finished talking Arianna grabbed her car keys then started driving to see her friend Samantha. After she left Melissa grabbed her boyfriend's hand and started talking to him about how he changed.

Melissa said how now that he's no longer a vampire they could start a life together but first, they need to get a house and live together. Right after she said that Raul replied by saying he can't leave his friends because they've been together for a long time. "I'm not telling you to forget about them. We just need a place of our own" she said "maybe you're right. Did you have any new houses in mind" he said, "there's a new house for sale a couple of blocks away from here". The two of them talked and talked for about fifteen minutes until Sean walked into the room to check up on the both of them. When he saw them close together he turned away but Raul stopped him so he could tell him the very important news. "We're moving out," Raul said "but what about us," Sean asked "we'll only be a few blocks away so we could still help if you need it" "this is so sudden" "it was bound to happen one day. Melissa and I need our own life together". After they finished talking all three of them hugged then walked back into the living room to talk with everybody else. Shortly after they walked in Dylan said how he might go to the island to see if the immortals and Ronal are still there. Just after he said that Camille explained that it might be too dangerous for him to go alone so they should all go. Both of them kept talking about going to the island until Michael interrupted them when he said they should forget it. Even though Michael wanted to make sure the immortals were still there he was afraid of getting hurt. Once he said that Dylan explained that they need to check and find a way to bring back the immortals. "I think we should just forget about the immortals," Michael said "but we promised Samantha we would help her" Dylan explained "yeah I know but if she really cared about the immortals she would be here right now" "she might be busy with something" "you don't know that" "and neither do you". While they were talking Sean got his phone and texted his sister to make sure everything was okay but she didn't reply.
