"Good morning Mai," I said hi to Maiya who was sitting on the couch watching TV, she had to go to school soon and Mattia offered to drive her, I said yes and that I was gonna go with them. "Morning Kai. W-why aren't you ready for school?" Maiya asked as she turned to look at me and saw I was wearing a tank top with pajama pants, "I need to ask mom something, where is she?" I asked as I leaned on the couch, "Her room I think, dads in the backyard," She told me, and I nodded as I walked back up the stairs.

"Mama?" I asked as I knocked on her door, "Come in!" She yelled back, I opened the door and saw her sorting through her jewelry, "Hi Ma," I smiled at her as I rubbed my stomach, "Awe, sit down baby," She said as she patted the spot next to her. I sat down as I looked over at her, "What happened?" She asked as she looked down at the necklace she was trying to untangle.

"It's about school," I told her, and she nodded as she looked up at me, "I wanna take a break from it, for now, until after the baby gets here," I told her, "I can barely walk Ma, my back starts hurting when I stand too long, I think it's best if I come back when I'm ready," I said.

"Okay, whatever you feel is best baby. Most of your teachers already know about the baby, so I'm sure they'll understand. I'll call the school later and tell them," She said with a nod, "Thanks mama," I leaned over, kissing her cheek and saying bye before leaving and going downstairs.

I was sitting in bed, folding some of Mal's clothes to put in his dresser later. Mattia and Maiya were at school, and my mom was grocery shopping with dad. So I was alone at home, my phone beeped and I looked over, seeing it was a message from Ale. I unplugged it from the charger and unlocked it.

ale 💩 - heyyy, wyd ?

me - nothing, wby, shouldn't you be in class rn ?

ale 💩 - yeah but she's not talking abt anything important. and you're always doing something, what are you up to ?

me - folding mal's clothes, but i'm bored since no ones home.

ale 💩 - the baby will keep you company

me - all he does is sleep, eat, and kick. he's not keeping me much company.

ale 💩 - mattia says hi. he's about to present so he can't check his phone

me - it's fine, tell him we said good luck.

ale 💩 - mattias too scared to ask, there's a party tonight at one of our soccer teammate's house. and we wanna go tonight but mattia told us that you don't wanna go out anymore. so would it be fine if we went ?

me - yeah ofc it's fine. idc if you guys wanna go out

School ended a couple of hours ago, which meant that the boys were getting ready for their party. I had texted Mattia every few minutes to make sure he was okay, I might have sounded clingy but I didn't care.
