It was pretty early in the morning when I started to wake up. But I was still in and out of sleep. I tried feeling around the bed for Kairi but he wasn't laying down next to me.
I smiled as I looked over at our desk. Seeing a photo of Malachi and Akio when we were at the park when Akio was just a year old. Back when Covid was a whole thing. Malachi playing peekaboo with Kio and making him laugh.

I fell back asleep before the door busted open, "Alright, up and at 'em, up and at 'em!" I looked over seeing Alejandro and Robert burst in, Pequeño and Milo running in and barking. Robert going over to the window and opening the curtains.
I covered my eyes, grabbing my pillow and putting it over my face as Milo licked my cheek. "C'mon wake-up Mattia, wake up. Wake up, wake up!" Ale said, getting on the bed and jumping up and down.
"Nah, it's only ten in the morning." I groaned, pulling the blankets over me. "Mattia, get your ass up and out of this bed," Robert said, grabbing the blanket and pulling it off.
"Mattia, for god's sake, your getting married today. You have to wake up, so you can get all handsome and shit before you and Kairi actually are married." Alejandro said, taking the pillow from me and hitting me with it.
"I'm handsome every day, bitch." I said, sitting up and rubbing my face, petting Pequeño and Milo as they laid there heads down on my lap.
"I put sweatpants and a baggy shirt in the bathroom for you, you can shower then go downstairs, I made breakfast. And I know you didn't want a fancy suit, so I got the turtle neck and the jacket, but you'll still look wedding-ready. And your mom called saying she would iron the jacket." Robert told me.
"Kairi is at his mom's house, she's getting his suit ready. And me and the boys, including Akio and Malachi, are gonna be at the venue, and they'll help us get everything ready. And after, I'll make sure they take their naps and get them food. So everything's ready. you and Kairi just have to get dressed and shit." Alejandro said.
"Thanks, and...thanks for doing this...like calming me down and everything," I said, and they both smiled. "Yeah, whatever. Go get dressed," Robert said.

"Okay, when Uncle Osh says you have to take your medicine, you have to listen to him. And your gonna be nice, okay? And try not to lose Koba and Caeser, okay?" I signed, Akio nodded as I helped him put his glasses back on. "Bye papa, I love you," I told him, kissing his forehead.
"Bye, love you more," He kissed my hand before going with Roshaun, his stuffed animals under his arms, "We'll text you if anything, bye Mr. Polibio," Roshaun said, I smiled at him before he left taking Akio and his backpack with him.
