You awaken slowly, pain tugging you into consciousness. It surrounds your body, pulsing in your head, sending waves of aches down your arms and legs.

Your eyes adjust, and the black fades to a grey, as light seeps in gently from under a doorway. The panic you feel subsides, and you are left only with a sense of déjà vu. As your head clears, and the thrumming in your veins begins to dull, you realize where - or when - you have felt this before, and you wonder if it is a coincidence that your thought process was the same, or if you are just that predictable.

You assume that the pain, the thrumming, must be symptoms of the blue light, or of whatever being took you when it first started.

The thinking makes your head hurt; you stop.

You decide to rest, after all, tomorrow can deal with itself.
