Haruki tore through the houses as he ran towards the Town of Harve. The town was around two kilometers away, and before he could make out the buildings, he could already hear the low booms coming from the direction of the town.
"I have to hurry!" After uttering a sentence, he decided to sprint for as long as he could.

Haruki managed to reach the town, and it was not a pleasant sight. Debris and rubble littered the streets. Broken glassses and houses with the roof and walls gone were not uncommon. Cries filled the air, together with the choking smoke.
Haruki rushed towards the source of growls and explosions, and even before he got to the scene, he could already make out the shape of the Nayshard. It was taller than two meters, a huge mass of bulging muscles. The skin was a purplish blue, and it don on a copper plated armour. A mask was put on to conceal it's face. Roaring, it was punching the ground.
That was when he heard shouts. Battle cries. Haruki realised the Nayshard was fighting against somebody.
Given that the fight was still continuing, Haruki knew the fighters were no normal humans to be able to resist the huge monster for such a long time. He quickly pulled his feet towards the battle scene, and what overcame his surprise was relief.
Standing there, fending off the huge Nayshard, were his two seniors who had went to fight for their Torches, Shinesh and Hawk.
"Shinesh, Hawk!" Haruki cried out as he rushed forward.
"Haruki? What are you doing here? It's dangerous!" Shinesh yelled, his face showing the shock he felt.
Hawk dodged another punch before shooting Haruki a glance. "Yeah, we'll fend off this giant ourselves. You go help in evacuating the townspeople!"
That was when Haruki realised the two Sparks had something in their hands. Shinesh had a pair of gauntlets, while Hawk wield a spear in his hands.
"You guys got your Torches?" Haruki asked, happy for them, especially Shinesh.
"Well, yeah! Save the talking for later! We'll talk once all this is over!" Hawk exclaimed as he slashed at the Nayshard.
Haruki nodded. He ran through the streets, helping some people who were trapped by the debris to escape. Some were not as lucky, and Haruki forced himself to look a way when he saw the bodies. Right now saving those alive was more important. After making sure most of the townspeople were a safe distance away from the Nayshard, Haruki went back to the battle scene.
Haruki took in slow, deep, breaths to calm himself down. His wounds were throbbing, and he felt a little light-headed. But he had to help his seniors, who were putting up a tough fight, but did not seem to be able to defeat the Nayshard. He climbed up a building which remained undestroyed by the Nayshard, a street away from the fight. From here, he could see the two Sparks landing blows on the Nayshard, who continued to punch them. Neither sides were giving in. The Sun was setting, and when night comes, it would be the home territory for the Nayshard. Haruki had to do something.
"Lend me your strength again, Sun Gloves!" Haruki muttered, looking at the gloves wrapped snugly around his fingers and hand.
The bow materialised once more, and Haruki grabbed it gratefully. He pulled back a light arrow and took aim.
"Let's go!" Haruki shouted as he released the arrow.
It sliced through the air, aiming straight for its target.
The arrow crashed into the shoulder armour of the Nayshard, shattering it. The Nayshard shrieked in pain, but otherwise the blow did not look like it did much damaged to him.
