A/N: Hi, so in this part I have kind of skipped on to the events of series 5 episode 3 because not a lot happened to do with Perrie in episode 2. But this part is more interesting! Hope you enjoy it and thanks for reading!

Three days had passed since winning the semis.
Jamie and Perrie walked along the street side by side, accompanied by Ian, Karen and Mike. Howard Royle had offered to sign Jamie, and they were on their way to Hawkstone Academy for his interview. Thankfully, Jamie and Pez had been on speaking terms more recently, and he had asked her to come with him when he gets signed. If he gets signed.
"Will you get off your phone, Ian!" Karen whisper-shouted to Ian in the waiting room of the Academy.
"Sorry, Karen, but it's important. He's about to sign for a top premier league club, and all their offering him is a measly £189 a week!"
"All their offering?" said Jamie in disbelief, "That's more than I've had in my entire life!"
"Well, anyway, you need an agent."
"We haven't discussed this Ian! Stop making plans for Jamie's future without talking it over with us first!"
Ian was about to argue back, when Howard Royle walked in. "Sorry to keep you waiting, had to deal with a younger player sharing inappropriate posts online." he said whilst shaking everyone's hands. "Perrie. I didn't expect to see you here." He knew Perrie's father from his football manager days.
"Yeah, well I came to support Jamie." she said with a quick smile before glancing at Jamie.
"Excellent, well, shall we get on with it Jamie?"
He nodded and left.
After about an hour, Jamie and the rest of them sat in Mr Royle's office, waiting to see if Jamie had been signed. After a few questions about Foxborough Academy, and why Jamie left, Howard asked about Phoenix.
"I was never happy at Foxborough," Jamie replied. "So I decided to commit my future to Phoenix. If I love a club I give it 1000%, and I love Hawkstone."
"And that's exactly the level of commitment I demand from my players, Jamie. And in that case," he reached into a cupboard under his desk. Perrie remembered this scene all to well. It was the same as when her brother Theo was signed, and she experienced the same anticipation and excitement now as she did then.
"Welcome to the Hawkstone family." Howard said, handing over a Hawkstone kit.
As Jamie walked out onto the pitch on his 16th birthday, Perrie and Boggy cheered on in the crowd, their voices sounding hoarse from the shouting. It had happened. He was signed.
People came up to Jamie all through the match asking for autographs and photos.
"You better get used to that." Perrie said; she remembered all too well Theo's fans, bombarding him to get him to sign shirts or notepads.
"Just as long as you don't let it get to your head." said Mike from in front of them, as Pez rolled her eyes. Halfway through the match, Perrie heard a notification ping on Boggy's phone, and a look of worry crossed his face. He stood up and dragged Perrie from her seat, and they walked outside.
"Look at this." he shoved his phone screen in her face.
She squinted as she read out the notification. "'Jamie Johnson signs for Hawkstone United.' So?" she asked.
"It's from Freddie. He can't do that! It's in breach of Jamie's contract!"
"So what do you want me to do about it?" they were whispering now, trying not to attract too much attention.
"Can you get a signal?" she looked at her phone desperately, as if willing the number of signal bars to somehow increase.
"No, can you?"
"No, but I've got to phone Freddie. I'll go look somewhere else. Just go back to your seat and act normal."
"Right, okay. Normal." like Jamie wasn't just about to lose his contract with a premier league team.

A/N: So, I missed out the whole bit with Boggy and the under 13's video in the interview, because it didn't really seem that important. Anyway, the next part gets interesting! (You probably already know what's going to happen, but I added a twist!) Hope you enjoy and thanks for reading!
