19.1 Goodbye ft. Vani

Story Setup: It runs parallel to the current track. Episode 50 in the series. Veer was trapped by Jai taking Rani's roop but Bani and Tapish reached the location and released Veer. Jai pretended to be helping Bani. Veer came out and Bani quickly transformed into human form and asked if was okay. He was confused with the whole Bani-Rani thing and why he felt pulled towards his 'stalker' that he, in rage, said really mean things to Bani and left.

Bani stood rooted to her spot. Tear pooled her eyes. Her husband, the man she so dearly loved had forgotten her. He flirted away with so many woman right in front of her and was always mean to her these days. He called her a gold-digger, a stalker and treated her like a maid. She had been enduring all this for a while now even though it broke her heart. But there is only so much a woman can take, that too, a pregnant woman. Her emotions were all over the place. She was happy yet sad that she couldn't share the news with her husband. Who knows what he will call her after knowing this.

J: Mai tumhe kitni baar smajhau Bani? Ab kuch nahi ho skta! Tumhare liye ab age bhadhna hi thik hai...bhool jao.

Bani look at Jai. She looked vulnerable. Jai's heart clenched. Had he not been so obsessed by her powers, he would have definitely loved her. If only there was a way of keeping her powers and her alive at the same time. He would have snatched her powers and continued to love on her as a powerless naagin. He sighed. He would pick powers anyday.

Tapish held Bani shoulder. He saw her as a sister and thought she needed the support. Bani looked at him and smiled. It looked fake and painful. She looked back at Jai.

B: Shayad tum sahi keh rahe ho Jai.

A tear escaped her eye. She looked like she was holding back a lot of tears.

T: Bani...

He looked at Bani with a lot of emotions. He was sad to see her so broken, ready to give up. The woman who had lived with a whole clan of her enemies and never given up was broken to an extend that she thought it was best to leave. He also knew that with each passing day, the chances of Veer remembering Bani were negligible and Bani could have wooed him as Rani but seems like someone took that away either. Now Veer wouldn't anyone close, who claimed to be someone else with a face of Bani. Tapish felt really helpless.

T: Vo Rani bankr aya kon tha pr?

B: Kya fark padta hai ab? Waise bhi mai kisko bewakoof bana rahi thi...khudko hi na? Veer Rani se pyaar kr leta, shaadi krta aur phir kya? Mai umar bhar kya identity se jeeti? Kabhi na kabhi to mere naagin hone ka sach bhi samne aata... (in mind: aur ye baccha...? iska kya hota...sb tk Veer Rani ke pyaar me padta bhi agar to is bacche pr sawal nahi uthte?...nahi, mere bacche ke liye...mujhe yahan se bohot door chale jana hoga)

Bani took her naagin form and went away. Jai tried to follow her but lost her.

J: Shit! Not again! pr tum jaogi kahan..ab tumhe mujhse koi nahi baacha payega...us cheel ke jeevan se toh tum door ho hi chuki ho...(laughs evilly)

Meanwhile, Bani reached the spot the landed on safely as a child. The spot where Baby Veer and Baby Bani first met each other, where she first realized that her husband was she a good man. She saw him in a different light here. She sat there and cried. Cried for all that she lost. Veer was never going to remember her! He was always going to stay away from her. She looked up and prayed to bholenath when she felt something shift. The invoked her powers and read the planetary movement again. They were normal. It meant that Veer was probably safe now. The kal dasha had gone. She smiled and held her stomach. She recalled Farishta's words. She wiped her tears and stood up.
