3. Ep: 35 BanixVeer

Scene Setup: Bani has come back from the Rahasyamayi Gufa (Mysterious Cave) with a boon to see a future event before it has actually happened. Since then she has been seeing water everywhere. First her sister, then Veer and she has been seeing water everywhere. She is sleeping now and Veer is with his brothers. She sees huge waves and water in its disastrous form and wakes up scared.

Bani wakes up with a start. Heaving. Why is seeing water everywhere? She is Adi Naagin but the prospect of losing two people so close to her heart is causing her to panic. Markaat is trapped so who could cause this. Who is this enemy who will manipulate water against her? Why Meera? Veer? She is scared and is sitting on the bed, tears well up in her eyes. Veer enters the room. He thinks his sweetheart must be asleep but when he sees her on the bed, head in hands he switches on the lights and notices her all wet.

V- Ah..gharwali, arey sath me chalet na shower me. Ek saath bheegte, maza aata. Ye kya tum akele akele aise.

He makes a hurt face, mischief dancing in his eyes. Bani's panic rose. She touches her hair and feel the moisture. She stares at Veer in horror. This was nightmare! Was it not?

B- Veeranshu..

V- This is not done gharwali. Aise offend nahi hote. Mana tumhara gharwala bohot hot ke saath saath bohot rich bhi hai but pani bacchana acchi baat hai-

B- Vo sb sapna tha, sapna tha. To mai bheegi kaise? Veer- Mai..

Veer's smirk fades when he notices Bani's face. Wet hair, confused face- he hates seeing his fierce adi naagin like this.

V- kya hua sweetheart. Tum itni pareshan kyu ho?

B- (Bani reaches towards him) Vo veer, mujhe nahi pata ye pani kahan se aya. Mai so rahi thi na, sapna tha to mai, mai bheegi kaise?

V- Arey arey, Adi Naagin bhi roti hai kya? Aise mote mote ansu?

Veer jokes and expects a good bashing from his adi naagin but to his surprise, she sits down and starts to sob. Fear envelops her as so many whys appear before her to which she knows no answer. Veer sits beside her.

V- Mai to mazak kr raha tha. Sach me. Chup Ho jao. Kya hua hai Bani?

Bani is not in the state to form a coherent answer. She sits close to him and he put her head on his heart to comfort her. They both feel helpless. She did not know if this was real, a divine warning. Will something happen to Meera and Veer? Veer on the other hand did not know what to do to help his love. He does not like seeing her so miserable. Seeing her suffer is the worst punishment for him. Her every tear felt like a drop of lava poured directly on his heart. He notices her shiver a little and gets up to get her a towel but Bani panics seeing him leave. She could not let him out of her sight. Kuch ho gaya toh? She hold his jacket tightly. Veer gets tensed seeing his ladaku viman this helpless and scared. He coos her and lifts her gently, saying sweet nothing in her ears. He brings her towards the edge of the cupboard and take a towel and starts drying her.

V- kya hua tha? Tum kuch keh raha thi na? Bolo..

B- Vo Veeranshu..Vo unchi unchi lehere thi..paani tha-bohot saara. Mujhe nahi pata mai kya karu...mujhe nahi pata..itna paani...lehere..mujhe nahi pata

She puts her head on his chest. Her body was shivering more from fear than cold. She held veer closely like a child hiding from the worlds misery in the arms of her only haven. The only man she trusted. But every second she spent in misery was a lifetime in pain for our hot Cheel. He thought of a way to bring her out of her trance. Slowly he moves his arms around her towards the hook of her beautiful, blue kurti and tries to unhook it. Bani does not even notice this. He opens the hook but to his surprise, Bani still did not react. He feels sad that his wife is so scared that she does not even notice this. He expected her to spring out of her bheegi billli mode to the jungli naagin mode. Show him her red eyes that he has come to love but seeing her so scared that she did not even reject his advances pained him.
