7. The morning after (5.2)

Part 2 to Drunk on a date

A part 2 to the date was asked by user58207778 I hope you and the others like it.

A short recap: Ponky and Daksh had tried to tease Veer with a picture of Shakura-Bani date setup at the balcony. Veer does a better setup at the same balcony and hopes to confront her. They both get drunk on the date, Bani more than Veer. She spills how the date with Shakura was meaningless. They share a kiss and a glimpse of Bani's feelings for Veer shines through their moments. They sleep cuddling each other in the room.

Story Setup: It is the morning. Veer gets up first.

A ray of sunlight peeps through the window to have a look at the two lovers wrapped in each other's arms. Veer wakes up first and is slightly disoriented. The events of last night slowly begin to come back to him, bringing a huge smile on his face. He tries to get up but stops when he feel weight on himself.

Holy mother of god! Veer died a thousand times to wake up in heaven when he saw his love sprawled all over him. Her head on his chest and hands around him and the hair fell down her back like a waterfall. He could give anything away to wake up like this always. He remembers their kiss as his eyes noticed the slight swell on her lips. He sends a quick text to his trusted help and stays on to cuddle her as the moment was too precious for him to break.

Soon enough, an old man entered the room, eyes trained to the ground and head so low that anyone would think he had a huge weight on his neck. There actually was a weight on his neck, not literally but he dared not to look up and be the source of his Veer baba's anger. Even with his head low, he could feel his happiness and also, his sharp eyes at him. He places a tray with some lemonade and medicines on the side table.

Veer: "Tell Tapish bhai that I am taking a day off and that no one is to enter the room today. Lock it from outside and I will text you when you have to bring the food"

Veer mouthed and went back to sleep.

Bani woke up at around noon. Her head pounding loudly. She sat up with a groan and tried to remember what happened last. She could only think of the date Veer planned for her. Rest was a blur. She looked back to see Veer asleep with a stupid smile on his face. Cute! She thought. Then her eyes widened and cheeks became red. What are you thinking Bani Sing- Sharma?! She smacked her head and felt a headache coming up.

She got up from the bed and left to freshen and let out a loud shriek when she took in her appearance, specially her swollen lips. They had kissed! That explains the smile on Veer who now ran into the washroom.

V: Kya hua Sweetheart? Tum chillai? Kuch hua to nahi?

B: Ugh! Mera sir! Kitna sawal poochega? Kya hua tha kl raat?

Veer gulped when he realised that Bani had no tolerance for alcohol and that she probably does not remember much from last night.

V: Tum chalo mere saath?

B: Kyu? Nahi jaana kahin..

V: Arey aao to...Pehle hi morcha lekr khadi ho jaati ho...(then he says softyly) aao

He guides her to the bed and makes her drink the lemonade and then take the medicine.

B: Ye sb diya hai tumne and mera headache bhi bohot hai.... hangover! Maine kl pee li thi kya?

Veer looks down guilty and Bani recalled the last thing she did, sip the 'juice' he handed over to her. She roared and stood up, eyes red.

B: You gave me that drink. Tumhe pata hai na mujhe chad jaati hai, tumne mujhe kyu pillaya?
