During the rest of the vacation I kept going back to them to learn more about my family. Of course the subject of that one thing I tried to avoid came up. So, what happened to her? my uncle asked. I looked at my feet sadly. Paris? he asked. I shook my head. A single tear rolled down my cheek. I stood up making the chair fall over and sped off. I ran and ran until my vision was too blurry to see anything. I leaned against a wall and slid down crying. Paris. I heard. I looked up and saw a vague figure. Then I was picked up and I relaxed realizing who it was. I tightened my hold on him and started to cry again. Shh, its okay. Shh, shh. Im here. Dolan said. I sobbed as he gently stroked my spine and then I felt him starting to walk back and forth. I calmed down a lot by that gesture and stopped crying. He set me down and looked at me. You cant just run off like that, William will kill me. Dolan said. I laughed. He pulled me to him and I hugged him tightly. Then he turned around. Hop on. He said. I smiled jumping on his back. I held on tight and wrapped my arms around his neck. We walked back to my family and as soon as I saw them I hid my face on Dolans shoulder. I stayed hidden and didnt come back out until I heard a familiar voice. Paris? I heard Gaby say. I climbed off Dolans back and walked over to her. Lets go back to the beach. She said. I nodded. She grabbed my hand and together we walked to the beach. We didnt have our bikinis on so we just took a walk. Then I stopped her getting an idea. I grabbed my phone and put on a nice song. I kicked off my shoes and began to dance. Then I stopped. Oh nice idea. Ill film it with my phone and we use yours for music. I nodded and we set the phones on a safe distance from the water. Then we started the music and we began to dance. At the end of the first song I got an idea. I stopped the video and signed to Gaby what I wanted to do. Use the water? Thats cool. She said. I started the song again and a new video and ran back to Gaby who had moved further back. We danced again and this time the water moved up as we jumped and slid from side to side. When the song was done we didnt stop. We let the music go on and danced more and more until we could barely stand. I carefully walked to the phones and clicked on stop. I saved the video and stopped the music. Only then did I notice someone looking. I moved up and then smiled. Done dancing? William asked. I giggled happily and ran over to him. I collided with him and he stumbled back. Whoah. Paris. Easy. He said. I smiled and wrapped my arms around him tightly. Someones happy to see me. William said caressing my cheek. I smiled up cheekily. I got the phones. Lets go. Gaby said. I looked up at William smiling and he smiled back. Okay, hold tight. He said. then he wrapped his arms around me and threw me over his shoulder. I giggled loudly and almost fell off. I said hold tight. William said trying not to laugh. I laughed along with him and the looked back. I saw Gaby looking at us with nothing than joy. I removed one hand from Williams back and waved at her. then almost fell off again. She laughed and I put my hands back on his back. I softly hit him and he laughed. Is that the best youve got? William asked. I raised my eyebrow at him and then smirked. I was soft because I didnt want to hurt him, but if he wanted to know what Ive got Oh, oh. William youve challenged her. Gaby said. So? he asked. You shouldnt. you really shouldnt. she said. I nodded and then began to hit Williams back repeatedly and much harder than before. Ouch. Hey ouch. Paris. Ouch. Stop. William said. I stopped as he sank to the ground. Im going to go ahead and bring the phones back. Ill see you guys later. Gaby said walking ahead. I shouldve listened to you. William managed to bring out before she was gone. I told you. she said. then she walked away. I gently rubbed the places on Williams back that I hadnt hit and he groaned. I flinched. I had really hurt him. I bend over and left gentle kisses on the spots I hit. He straightened up almost immediately. when I had gone over all the spots he pulled me to his front and kissed me. I smiled and wrapped my arms around his neck. He pushed me closer to him and my legs wrapped around his waist. He stood up, while never breaking the kiss, and began walking back to the house. After a while he pulled away and just began carrying me back. I rest my head on his chest and smiled. I may had gotten a lot of bad luck in my life, but moments like this proved why it is never a good idea to just give up. Who knows, in the darkest of times could be light at the end, but if you dont keep fighting, youll never know.
