Choosing Between Perfect & Perfect

Realization Part 2

Sebastian's pov

The five of us were sitting downstairs watching a movie, but I couldn't pay attention to it. All I could think about was Clary.

She was sitting beside me and our shoulders were touching. Ever since I had first seen her, I had known I would like her. She was beautiful and she was different from other girls.

Her and I kept giggling through out movie, earning glares from Alec.

"Can you guys be quiet." He said annoyed and Clary and I chuckled.

Jace sat quietly staring off into the distance. Something had been bothering him these past few days, and he wouldn't tell me what it was. But he was always such a mystery. I glance over at Clary, she looks so much like her mother I think to myself.

When I had heard that her mother and my father almost got married, I was a bit speechless. I mean, why hadn't my father told me?

"This movies boring." Isabelle says suddenly.

"It is." Clary says from beside me.

"What should we watch then?" I ask them.

"Let's not watch a movie. Ooooh lets play monopoly!" Izzy exclaims.

"Please not monopoly." Jace groans

"Yes!" Isabelle says and she ran off to get it.

Ten minutes later we were all sitting around the coffee table playing monopoly.

"I'm gonna crush you Red." Jace says while smirking at Clary.

"Oh we'll see." Clary says and a blush creeps up on her cheeks

Suddenly I feel jealous. What if Clary likes Jace? Then something dawned on me. I had figured out why Jace had been so quiet. Jace liked Clary. I looked at him and sure enough he was sneaking glances at Clary when she wasn't looking.

What was I going to do? Jace is like my brother I can't just date the girl he likes. I look over at Clary. There's a small smile on her face, as Isabelle rambles on about the rules of the game.

Clary is so beautiful. She lights up the room with just her smile, and then I realized something.

I'm in love with Clary.
