"Appa?" Jungkook and Taehyung had come back to the apartment building right when Jugnkook's dad had arrived in front of the apartment, standing in front of the door almost ready to knock. Jungkook ran to hug his dad as Taehyung smiled at the sight while he stood a meter or two from the two.
"Is everything okay?" Jae-Jung asked when he looked at his middle son. "Yes, I'm fine." "I'm so glad, we were so worried when we heard that you got to Daegu out of nowhere." Jugnkook felt ashamed, just like he felt since he figured out himself that he basically ran away.
The fifteen-year-old couldn't look back at his father. "Ummm, do you mind if I'll open the door for us?" Taehyung couldn't stay quiet. He had to say something to help Jungkook get out of the awkward situation he was in. "Nice to see you again, Taehyung." Taehyung smiled as Jae-Jung let him open the apartment door.
Taehyung opened the door and let his guests in, Jungkook immediately took off his shoes and put on the slippers the older had given him, while his father was given a pair from a side closet, which made Jungkook surprised because the seventeen-year-old told him they didn't have a spare pair for guests. "Hello," Taehyung's mother said as she sat down on the sofa and put down her book. "You must be Jungkook's dad," she said and stood up. "Nice to meet you, Jae-Jung." "Jihyung, I talked to Nara-ssi on the phone earlier."
The teens stood there looking at the two adults talking. "Jungkook is a good kid," Jihyung commented, and Jungkook's father laughed playfully, "he didn't do any trouble, I hope," Mr. Jeon was always joking about his kids when they have new friends. "Of course not, he is always welcome. Hear that, Jungkook-ah, always welcome."
Jungkook blushed from the gesture. "Thank you Jihyung-ssi." "You need to get your clothes," taehyung reminded, Jungkook nodded and followed the older teen to his room. "For some reason, when parents are talking, it feels so awkward," the brunette said. Jungkook nodded.
"Are you okay?" "I don't want to go," the younger boy said and looked upward to look at Taehyung's eyes. "I don't want you to go either, but we will meet soon. Everything will be okay." "Maybe it's because I'm not ready for the talk with my dad," Jungkook said, his voice became a whisper, he was scared. "You had this talk before?" The older teen was curious and it was understandable. The fifteen-year-old nodded, "when I was twelve, before the appointment they set me to the psychologist." "I'm sorry..." "Don't say that. I know what my situation is, and no matter what happens, I'm glad I got to be here." They looked into each other's eyes, "Hyung. I know that this time it wasn't about my anxiety, but they can't know that."
