It wasn't a regular nightmare, that's for sure

It wasn't a regular nightmare, that's for sure. Taehyung woke up in cold sweat and heartbeat fast in his chest. What was that all about? Why was this dream so affected his waking up?

It wasn't a nightmare but yet it was. A locket necklace on a woman's neck and a red-colored couch. That's all the seventeen-year-old could remember. There was more but his memory was lost on that part. What was that part that was so spooky, that made him wake up in such a frantic reaction?

Taehyung caught his head and ruffled his own hair as he got out of bed and went to the bathroom to wash his sweaty face. When the brunette got back from the bathroom he looked in his phone to see what time at night it was. It seemed like early morning. It was the last day of spring break and he was awake. Good for him, he guessed, now he wouldn't be able to go back to sleep.

Taehyung tried to write down what he remembered from the dream. It was important, he was sure of it. But why? That he didn't know. After school the next day he will go to the hospital, he'll ask bogum about it, then. Taehyung wrote down a list of the things he saw and then a description of what he remembered based on the list.

He even tried to draw how the locket looked like but his memory wasn't good enough. He couldn't remember the exact details, not even the color of the object, the necklace it was on, was it gold or silver? Was it thin or thick? His memory was disappearing as his dream was just a short-term memory.

When it was 'back to the school' day, Taehyung immediately was joined by his best friend at the entry. "You look like shit," Jimin said. "We are back in school, of course, I feel like shit." "Something tells me that it's not just it," the cat said. And like always, the two boys were joined by Jung Wheein that appeared out of nowhere. "Sooo, how was Kookie's visit?" "Don't call him that." "Why not?" The dark-blue-haired girl pouted. "Because only Tae is allowed to call him that," Jimin answered and got a smack in the back of the head in return.

"Not nice," the cat whined. Taehyung shrugged. "So are you going to tell me what's wrong?" "Jungkookie is going to see a psychologist today." "What? Why?" Wheein asked. They got into class and sat around Wheein's table. "Long story, and not mine to tell. And also I had a nightmare the night before and I can't remember details..." "What kind of nightmare?" Jimin asked, he looked even more worried and had a serious tone.

"About a woman and a necklace, I don't even know if it should count as a nightmare because it wasn't scary and yet I woke up in sweat..." "You subconscious not letting you remember what more happened there, short-term memory," the wolf girl said, "so it was a nightmare, but you only remember the good and calm part and not something else," she continued. "You have to tell Bogum hyung," Jimin then said.

Taehyung nodded. He was meaning to call the doctor, but since he'll be in the hospital today, he'll tell the older face to face. "I'll tell him later, I have my social activity this afternoon, I'll tell him then." "you should have told him when you had your dream..." "It's none of your business," Taehyung snapped at his friend but then immediately regretted it. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to..." "It's okay, this is your dream, not mine,'' Jimin said. He sounded hurt, and Taehyung felt guilty as he watched his best friend leave to his seat. "Very mature," Wheein commented. "I'm seventeen, I'm not supposed to be mature,'' Taehyung said before going to his own seat.
