"Just remember what I told you about us, don't be afraid okay." These were the words Jackson told Jungkook when they walked through Busan's biggest hospital doors to the magical department.
The day before, Namjoon told Jungkook that he would come to pick him up after school the next day. Jungkook didn't know what to expect when the elf man said it. But he knew that this would be his first lesson. He talked to Taehyung for the past week about his questions and his thoughts about different things. Taehyung had some too and told Jungkook a couple of things about things he already knows. Both boys knew that assumptions are something they shouldn't believe in till they'll get the full explanation.
The past week had been full of rain that took all the snow away and the weather wasn't as cold. Now that they got into March. Notebook in hand, Jungkook put it in front of him in the rain while his own body stayed under the shelter from the rain. The notebook was full of little raindrops but it didn't budge into the cover. "You okay?" Someone came from behind him. The scarred boy immediately moved his notebook to stay at his side under the rooftop. "I'm waiting for someone," he answered, "why are you still here?" "Waiting for someone as well," Eunwoo answered and Leaned against the wall behind him.
"What was that with the notebook?" The handsome boy asked. "Nothing." "You made your notebook soak with water. Do you really not like the subject?" Eunwoo asked, looking down at the shorter boy. "It's not it, please don't ask, it's none of your business." Jungkook and Eunwoo had been talking more in the past week, and the scarred didn't know what to think about it. He never thought he would ever get to this place of talking to the most handsome boy in their grade or more like in the whole middle school.
The two heard a beeping sound from a car and looked toward the direction. It was a white car and Eunwoo stepped into the rain opening an umbrella, "see you tomorrow, Jungkook." "see you," the scarred boy said back and watched the boy stepping into the car. Now he was alone. Then there was a gray car getting inside the parking lot area of the school. Jungkook looked to see who is getting out of the said car and saw a tall figure with a big blue umbrella. He couldn't see the person's face but something his aura told him it was an elf. "Namjoon hyung?" the scarred boy shouted.
The person turned around, it was indeed Namjoon, he was wearing his uniform, with a big black raincoat. The tall elf went toward the student, smiling his dimple smile. "Hello Jungkook, how was school?" he asked when he stood in front of the younger student. "Fine, where are we going?" Jungkook asked. "It's a secret," Namjoon winked. The scarred boy nodded and went after the older under the umbrella toward the gray car. I would have called you from the car but I saw you had no umbrella," the officer said while they got inside the car.
"I forgot it at home," Jungkook answered while sitting in the back seat, "why can't you tell me where we are going?" "I want it to be a surprised, but on the way, we will go pick up someone.'' The car pulled out from the parking lot and drove through the city buildings, driving to the south part of the city, toward the sea. Jungkook remembered this way, he had been on a bus that took him this way. The day he dropped his notebook to the river to see if it would really come back to him. To see if magic was really real.
