"You should stop pacing like that, you'll have a headache," Jin told Namjoon as the elf was walking back and forth in their shared living room. "I'm an elf, hyung, I can go on like that as much as I like," the younger snapped. "If you say so." The shapeshifter was sitting on the sofa right in front of the pacing elf, reading a book.

"Besides, don't you have work today?" Namjoon asked when he decided to stop and stood in front of the older who raised his gaze upwards to look at the elf's face. "No, your mother gave me a free day, because of tomorrow," Jin said and looked back at his book. "Oh, I didn't notice." the older shrugged.

"You care so much, honey," Mrs. Song told her son later on the same day. "I'm trying not to, but what if something bad will happen later on and wouldn't be able to do anything about it?" Namjoon looked at his mother and sat down on the chair behind the counter. "He is a big kid, he knows so much already." "But he shouldn't go to..." "This should not be your concern, Joon-ah, as much as I know you hate what Mr. Park told you, we can't do anything but wait for the right time to start the teaching."

"Will you and father help me?" Namjoon wanted his parents to participate in the magic teaching as they did with the last Korean magicians. "It's your time, honey, we can help but you took it upon yourself once you stood in front of Mr. Park.

The older elf, the head of the council was older than him in only one hundred years, and yet the man climbed to the top. Before him, there was the first cat of the first magician, Moon Heejoon, but the old man wanted to stop and rest till his time to go will come after not taking a family for two hundred years, this how many cats could survive without being attached to humans, and before that even longer.

Namjoon thought about his parent's old friend as a help to teach the new magicians, the old cat was help for centuries. But when he went to ask him all the cat said was to look for someone who is worthier. What does that mean? Namjoon could only guess he meant someone else who has the same experience.

"Mother, do you know someone who can help me, another cat?" The woman elf was wrapping new cookies that cooled down. "Didn't you ask for help already?" "Old Gizmo said to look for someone else, and Hope agreed but he himself has a lot of work before he could be free," Namjoon explained. "What about the Daegu center, did you try looking there? What about Seoul?" "I'm not looking in Seoul. I did already. most of the cats decided to stay human and forget their past," Namjoon looked down at his hands, "the only ones who decided to remember are close to the magic sources."
