"What is going on?" Jungkook asked the woman, Minsoo. The room he was in was wider than his own. It had a big ceiling to floor window with cream-colored curtains that were open wide. But he couldn't see what is outside.
The armchair that Minsoo was sitting on was placed on a white carpet. The bed itself was with gray bedding with golden stars in. Was he at the woman's house?
The furniture in the room was all from black wood, unlike the other decoration which was in brighter colors. And a mirror, on the wall that from when he ley he could see the window through it.
"Your magic," the woman answered. "What do you mean?" Jungkook blinked, he felt so tired but even if he'll try to fall asleep again, he doesn't think it'll work. "The age of magic, as you know, is sixteen. Your body is trying to maintain your magic and not let it loose. But something is triggering it and instead of taking your magic out, you keep it in."
"What do you mean, trigger? The-those stares?" Minsoo smiled sadly and nodded. "Dark magic is following you. And I'm afraid of what it can do to you before the magic in you will settle down once you will be sixteen." Jungkook was afraid as well. He didn't want to have these attacks, not again not ever.
"What should I do?" "I'm afraid once the dark magic gets to you all you can do is fight it within yourself, but you'll be exhausted. Just like now. You are a magic source and Kim Taehyung is one as well. Once one of the magic sources is attacked, it would be best for both to be together, it is more powerful, the dark magic wouldn't dare get close to you, let alone attack you." Minsoo's voice was so calm yet Jungkook could hear her concern.
"How did I get here?" at last, the question that had been bothering him. One of them at least. "Did you bring me here? Is it a dream?" It was only human of him to be confused and worried. Minsoo looked at him, no shame in her eyes, but the concern was still lingering in her sapphire orbs.
"You fell ill, your exhaustion took a toll on you. And unfortunately, you showed up here." "I- I was on my bed, then I fell asleep-" "And then you became sick, hot and then, unfortunately, your heart stopped from the load." The sapphire eyes looked deep into his own brown eyes. "Am I-" Jungkook wanted to cry, but could he? Could he cry? "No. you are not dead. You will be back soon. It's not your time, Jungkook."
"What about my family?" Jungkook rose from his laying position and sat down, worry was all he could think about. "They brought you to the hospital because you showed no signs of getting better. The monitor in your room right now is on a long sound. Soon your heartbeat will get back."
"How do you know all of this? Are you there?" "I'm in the part of you who is still conscious, which means you will remember me and that conversation when you will wake up. My job is to keep you and Kim Taehyung in balance." Minsoo helped Jungkook lay back on the bed headrest. "You were the one that talked to me, that day when I- and when I went to Daegu and-" the woman nodded. "I will always be here for you when you have a hard time, but unfortunately I can not use my powers against the dark magic."
