It was the middle of March already and the rain didn't stop for the time being. Jungkook loved the rain, he really did, he loved walking in the rain or just watching it from his bedroom window whenever he did a little break from the book he was currently reading.
It wasn't a weekend or something, it was just a Wednesday afternoon after he finished all his homework. He and Taehyung had been talking about when they'll next lesson would be but they both knew that it was time for them to get into school stuff as well as their tests that are coming out at the end of this month as well in May and June. But for today, he was done with school so reading a book was what he did (even though it was a supernatural genre, but not Twilight, he already read Twilight and will forever regret it.)
Taehyung didn't call him nor did he call Tae in a week. Both were busy with studying and they only communicated with the notebook. Jungkook of course sent Taehyung more books to read as Tae sent him mangas and comic books. They talked about the magic community, of course, it was a part of their lives now, but keeping it aside sometimes for their own sake.
"Kook, grandma is here," Jung-sook came to call her brother to go down to their family member. Jungkook saw his grandma not long ago but they didn't get to talk about the changes in the eyes of the teen who knew that his grandmother is someone with a site like himself and had it for a long time. "I'll be right there," the scarred boy told his sister. He was still wearing his uniform when he got downstairs to see his grandmother. Everybody was already seated in the living room.
"You could've at least changed your uniform," his mother said when she saw him get inside the room. But he just shrugged, the uniform was comfortable, really, even though he had only one set of them and he needs to wear it tomorrow as well. "How are you, kookie?" his grandma asked. "You shouldn't call him that," Junghyun said which surprised everybody. "Why not?" Mrs. Jeon asked with a silly grin. "Because he already has someone to call him that," that the youngest said.
Jungkook was exposed, thanks to his little brother he will get questioned by his grandmother, he didn't want to. "Is that so?" "no," Jungkook shouted, "he is-" he tried to think of something to defend himself and not get even more exposed but he couldn't think of anything. "Nevermind," he mumbled and sat in the empty space on the second couch and sent his little brother a glare. The youngest just shrugged it off. "So how was school today? Something new that I don't know about?"
Jungkooks coming out to his grandmother wasn't really a "coming out", because she already knew it and talked to him about crushes from nowhere, and boys. And then asked him why didn't he tell her himself and then he proceeded to say that he was on his way to do so, and she didn't let him. So jungkook groaned to the question and his brother and sister both looked at their grandmother with blank faces. She knew everything, nothing is news to her. "Mom, please," Nara said, "you already know everything." "no," the elder said to her defense, "I didn't know that I couldn't call Jungkook, Kookie, because of someone else calling him that." Jungkook covered his face with his hands from embarrassment.
