Jungkook wasn't home when Jeon Jungsook had her nerve braking moment. Her pre-experiment didn't go well, Namjoo and she had done it at least four times but with no luck. When Jungkook got home he could feel the tension in the air and it was irritating. Junghyun isn't home yet because he went to a friend's house so he had no one to ask about what's going on. There were sobbing noises when he got upstairs, Jungkook went to check what's going on and all he saw was his mother hugging her oldest while whispering that everything was going to be okay and maybe the Daegu students could make it work, and if not, they had a backup experiment.
Jungkook walked to his bedroom, his day was fine, he got flustered yet again because of the handsome boy but the thing he was thinking about was what will happen with Taehyung at their pre-experiment. Will it work? He hoped so, his sister looks crushed, but if it won't? They have a backup plan, experiment, all they will have to do is meet, write their papers again, do the experiment that works and maybe have time to visit at his house so he could see Kim Taehyung in real life. Now he sounded selfish and that made him feel bad about it, what is his problem? Not everything is about me, I'm being selfish when my sister feels bad. He wanted to hug her and tell her that it's not the end of the world, like a good brother, so that what he was going to do, go to her room and ask her if she is okay and maybe comfort her. Yes, he can do that, what can go wrong with being a good brother?
Jungkook went out of his room to talk to his sister but all this thinking time took too much time because when he got to her room he heard her giggling and then his mother got out of the room with a smile, but it had no emotions, he couldn't see emission in her eyes, "what's wrong?" He asked her, "she was upset about the experiment, I tried to comfort her with the backup experiment, but then I told her that if it won't work with the Daegu students she could see taehyung again, im sorry Kook," Nara smile a sad smile to him, "she is happy, that's good." Why is his mom sad about Jung-sook seeing her crush again? Not like he cares, as long as he could see him too, right? But why has his heart started to beat fast? Maybe because seeing Taehyung in real life is exciting to him? "If you have a bad time," his mother said, "don't be afraid to talk to us okay? We are here for you," "I know, I do have something to tell you but I want dad to be here too," Jungkook felt as if confidence filled him, and it felt great. Jungkook went back to his room to take his book and went downstairs to read till dinner. He will decide what to eat for dinner later.
When Jungsook had the video chat they're not eating Dinner together because Jung-sook loved to sit in the kitchen. That where she was now, with earphones she bought not long ago so she can be concentrated on the group and no extra noises from the family.
