"𝐂𝐀𝐍 𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑 𝐔𝐒?" Vanessa asked, motioning to Damon, who was looking through research.
"No, that would be creepy," he whispered from across the room, causing Brooklyn to laugh from beside him.
"Is she a vampire?" she asked again, earning a shake of the head from Elena.
"Can he read minds too?"
"You know, if you want to see me naked, all you have to do is ask," Damon smirked at the woman, earning a smack on the arm from Brooklyn who was being absolutely no help.
"No, that he can't do," Elena scoffed, sending a glare his way. "He is very capable of being a first-rate jackass,"
Damon looked offended at what Elena had said, but had no idea what it was so just shrugged it off.
"Are you going to help, or are you just going to sit there?" he asked the Bennett girl, who hopped off of the table she had been sitting one.
"Oh, I already know everything about werewolves," she replied, putting the empty notepad back on the table.
"And you didn't tell us?" they all asked, looking at her with disbelief.
"Would you have believed me?" she retorted, to which they all shook their heads.
She siphoned magic from Damon, earning a wince and a glare from him. Within a few seconds, she had flung a book into Alaric's hands, opened on the correct page.
"So she's a witch?" Vanessa whispered to Elena, who nodded in response.
"You know, you could've just got up and got it by yourself," Damon scoffed, walking over to Ric.
"Where's the fun in that?" she laughed in response.
When the group had finished learning about werewolves, they headed off, thanking Vanessa for her help. Brooklyn took this as an opportunity to call Tyler to ask him if the party was still on, to which he said that Mason insisted that it be over by nightfall.
Muttering a quick apology for not being able to attend, the girl hopped in the back of the car and waited for the others to return.
