𝐁𝐑𝐎𝐎𝐊𝐋𝐘𝐍 𝐃𝐈𝐃𝐍𝐓 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍 𝐇𝐄𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐄, rushing out of the room without a word of warning to the other two. Kathrine's jaw dropped when she saw that she could exit the room, knowing her plan was not going as expected.

"Hey, I'm here to help," she said, panting from running down the stairs in her heels.

"What are you going to do?" Caroline said, feeling defensive over Elena.

"Pass me your hand," Brooklyn said, ignoring what Caroline had said.

Elena screamed in pain as a wound appeared on her hand, clearly inflicted by Kathrine. Grabbing Elena's good hand, she warned her that it might hurt as she mustered the strength to siphon the spell from her.

The red glow immediately put Bonnie in defensive mode as she tried to stop her sister.

"What are you doing to her? Stop you're hurting her," Bonnie yelled, trying to shove her sister off the Gilbert girl.

"Trust me, Bonnie, for once in your life just trust me," she said, grimacing at how strong the spell was.

After a while, through screams of Elena's pain both from the burning sensation of the siphoning and the seemingly self inflicted wounds created by Kathrine, the pain stopped altogether.

Brooklyn near passed out at how strong the spell was, her body completely consumed by the magic coursing through her veins. The sensation was euphoric, yet painstaking. She felt on top of the world like she could perform the most complex of spells with the bat of her eyelashes but she also felt like she was going to burn from the inside out.

Back inside the manor, Damon felt a rush of electricity flow through his veins, like someone had just drained his blood and replaced it with something new. He just shook it off and continued threatening Kathrine.

"Brooklyn, wake up!" he heard Bonnie yell.

He rushed over to the window, seeing Brooklyn passed out on the floor, her hands still emitting a fading red glow.

"What did you do to her?!" He yelled, pushing the stake further into her neck.

"I didn't do anything, she did it to herself, everyone is willing to sacrifice themselves for Elena apparently," Kathrine scoffed, just as he was about to drive the stake into her heart, she rushed out of the room noticing Lucy stood outside with the moonstone.
