Pardon me again for my absence, but I'm back for a bit to write for relaxation before my exams start. Don't think you'll hear much of me, but I really love this book and don't want to neglect it :)
(I think the dark mode on wattpad makes this chapter much cooler lol)

"Are... Are we stuck here?" You asked when you tried to open the locked door a second time. The door to the dressing room had fallen shut when the two of you entered and it appeared the lock wasn't going to budge.

"Perhaps." Peter sighed. You heard the rustle of paper and assumed he was opening his pack of cigarettes to soothe his nicotine addiction crying out in this situation.
Your assumptions were right when you heard the flicker of the lighter and the flame arose while he lit his cigarette. For a second, your heart beated a little less quick when the little source of light in the pitch black room showed the outline of his face. It soon sped up again when he managed to light it and the scent of nicotine hit your nostrils.

"What now?" You asked, slumping against the wall and focussing on the glowing tip of the cigarette. You had to keep track of where he was. You didn't want him too close, but also not too far away. There had to be just enough space so he wasn't in your comfort zone and you weren't freaking out because of the situation.

"We wait. It won't be too bad to spend some time together, right?" Even though you couldn't see him, you could just picture the sly smile on his face when he said that.

"Oh no, not at all." You answered. The tip of the cigarette glowed yellow when he took a drag and he slowly puffed the smoke out towards you. "Isn't there a curtain we can open to make it a little less dark?"

He hummed. "It's a pitch black night, but you can try. Maybe the moon can help a little."

You nodded and got up, slowly shuffling your feet over the ground in order not to trip over anything. You reached your hands in front of you and managed to find the opposite wall without any trouble."Now we just need to find a window." You whispered more to yourself than to him, but found that he had gotten up too and held his lighter near you to help. He discarded the now dim cigarette on the ground to free his other hand to see if he could find one.

"Got it!" You yanked the curtain away from the window to reveal a waning crescent moon trying its hardest to give you a source of light. It wasn't much, but at least you could make out the shapes in the room. You stepped back to enjoy it, only to trip over something behind you.

"Y/N!" Peter huffed, reaching out to catch you just before you could hit the ground. You looked up in utter confusion, finally able to see his eyes in the moonlight. You were thankful for him saving you, though.

"Thanks.." You breathed, standing up and feeling his hands leave your body. "That just earned me a cigarette."

"Have to agree." He grinned, sitting with his back against the wall and patting the spot next to him. You sat down next to him and he gently placed the stick between your lips, reaching for his lighter to light both his and yours at the same time before gently nipping at your neck.

"I think I earned that too." You mumbled while you exhaled the smoke onto his skin.

"And what do I earn?" He asked, cocking his eyebrow at you.

The corners of your mouth lifted into a smile before you took a long drag from your cigarette and kissed him softly, exchanging the smoke with him. His hand slowly slid behind your back to hold you close and you sighed contently.

"I think we both earn more..."
