I wake up early to my alarm since our appointment is at nine this morning. I pull myself out of bed and over to the bathroom. I throw my hair up in a messy bun and look into the mirror. I've only been awake half the night going to the bathroom. This baby decided to sleep against my uterus last night. I wipe my sleepy eyes and open my makeup drawer to find some concealer to cover up the dark circles under my eyes.

"Good morning." Noah wraps his arms around my hips.
"Good morning." I sigh as I kiss him.
"What's wrong baby?" Noah says noticing I'm not myself.
"Me. I look horrible. Look at the bags under my eyes, and how fat I look." I point out.
"Elle stop it. You're pregnant what do you expect." Noah says.
"But look at everyone else who's pregnant. They're all glowing and look like models." I cry.
"You're glowing and look like a model Shelly."
"I'm not though." I disagree.
"You are." Noah states.
"If you weren't I would have taken that engagement ring when you gave it to me." Noah adds on.

I look up and Noah with tears in my eyes and he kisses me.

"Now go get ready." Noah says stopping our kiss.
"Our appointment is in an hour and it takes about thirty minutes to get there." Noah adds on.
"Okay," I say in a drowsy.
"I'm picking you're outfit today." Noah says when leaving the room.
"K." I replie.

After I'm all ready me and Noah head downstairs. Noah picked out a black tank top that's tight so you can see my big enough bump, but not as big as it will be, light blue washed ripped jeans and a grey cardigan. It's an outfit I would have picked out, but before I was pregnant.

It's not like I've announced it anywhere. I don't even think anyone from school knows. I haven't even told Emily and Lisa yet, but I will today or tomorrow. Every time I've hung out with them I've worn baggy shirts so you can't tell. I think I'll post something on Instagram and Facebook, just to tell people, I guess. I just don't want people finding out because one day they see me out in public with a baby.

"Good morning, are you excited to find out the gender?" Rachel says once I get downstairs.
"So excited." I say excited.
"I have a great idea. You should have a gender reveal party. Me and Lee can go get a ballon filled with pink, or blue confetti, then you guys can pop it to find out!" Rachel announces.

Lee's forgiven me. It took him two weeks but he did, but Noah on the other hand, Lee won't forgive, ever.

"Oh my gosh, I love it! Totally."
"Okay great." Rachel smiles.
"We'll get the doctor to write it on a piece of paper and we can bring it home to you."
"Perfect." Rachel agrees.
"Elle we better get going." Noah says coming down the stairs.

I nod and me and Noah proceed out the door.

Once we arrive at the hospital we go up to the clinic and check in."

"Name?" The secretary asks.
"Elle Evans." I reply.
"Doctor?"
"Jennifer Smith."
"Appointment time?"
"Nine am." I replie.

The secretary nods, letting us know we can go to wait.

"Elle Evans." A nurse calls.

I quickly get up and Noah follows behind me.

"The doctor will be right with you." The nurse says before closing the door.
"Are you excited?" I say looking over to Noah.
"Very." Noah squeezes my hand.
"Elle, Noah!" Jennifer says as she comes in.
"I haven't seen you in forever Noah, you were about fifteen last time, you've really grown." Jennifer smiles.
"Thank you." Noah smiles.
"So any morning sickness still?" Jennifer asks me.
"Once in a while, but not a lot." I replie.

Jennifer asks me a couple questions before showing us the baby.

"So here's your baby, and today's the day you're finding out the gender!" Jennifer announces.

A tear falls down my face as I see it. I look over to Noah who has a tear on his cheek, but I pretend I didn't notice because I know he would be embarrassed.

"Oh if you could actually write it down that would be great. We're going to do a ballon with confetti."
"Oh that's sounds fun, of course." Jennifer says before grabbing a pen and paper.
"Here you are, now who should I trust not to sneak a peek of this with?" She asks.
"Probably Noah." I giggle.

She hands the paper to Noah and wipes the gel off my stomach.

Once we get home Noah gives Lee and Rachel the paper and they leave to go out. They said they'd be back in about three hours, so I have time to go to Lisa's and invite Emily to her place.

After texting Lisa and Emily, Lisa said to come to her place in twenty minutes. I change into black leggings and a oversized shirt and head out.

"Okay so I have something to tell you guys." I say once we're all sitting down.
"What? Are you okay?" Lisa says concerned.

I get up and pull my shirt over my stomach revealing a small bump.

"Oh my gosh!" Lisa and Emily squeal.
'You're pregnant!" Emily jumps up and down.
"I can't believe it, how long have you known." Lisa says happily.
"I'm seventeen weeks."
"And you didn't tell us sooner!" Emily whines.
"I just didn't know how to. Like I'm pregnant, you don't just go up to someone and say, hey, I'm pregnant." I giggle.
"I guess, is it a boy or girl?" Lisa shrugs.
"We don't know yet, we're finding out today."
"Are you having a gender reveal party? Please tell me you are." Lisa begs.
"We are, you guys wanna come?" I ask.
"Duh." They both chorus.
"And I'm posting a picture on Instagram and Facebook after. To tell everyone. How do you guys think I should do it?" I question.
"Well what if you post a picture of an ultrasound pic on your belly and caption it 'I've been keeping a secret for seventeen weeks' to tell people you're seventeen weeks pregnant?" Lisa suggests.
"That's a great idea, and after, like maybe tomorrow, Lisa will take pictures at the gender reveal and you can post them!" Emily agrees.

...

"Rachel and Lee are here!" I scream when I see there car come into the driveway.

We (as in me, Noah, June, Mr.Flynn, Lee, Rachel, Lisa and Emily) all go into the backyard where June set up some tables with some snacks and picture props.

Before we get outside Noah pulls me aside. "What do you want it to be?"
"Girl. But boy too, I don't know." I giggle.

Noah chuckles and we go outside.

I'm wearing a pink dress since everyone is wearing the colour they think the baby will be. From all the online quizzes I've done it's said I'm having a girl, so that's my guess. Mostly everyone is wearing pink except for Rachel, Emily and Lee, who are on team boy. Rachel said she and Lee didn't look at the paper so they don't know yet, and I hope that's true.

Rachel gives me and Noah the ballon along with two pins.

"3."
"2."
"1." Everyone yells.

Me and Noah pop the ballon and pink confetti fills the air.

"It's a girl!" Everyone screams.
"Oh my God! It's a girl Noah!" I scream of happiness.
"We're having a baby girl." I say jumping up and down.
