"Bye." I say kissing Noah.

I'm finally leaving back home, after four days.

"I'm going to miss you-you a lot." Noah says placing a kiss on my hand.
"I'm going to miss you more."

I look out the plane window and stare at the sky. A tear rolls down my cheek as I think of Noah. What I'm I going to do, Lee doesn't want to be friends anymore, I don't have anyone to even hang out with.

"I'm home." I say as I unlock the door.
"Elleeeee!" Brad says running over to me.
"Hi." I say hugging him.
"I missed you." Brad says hugging me back.

After unpacking my stuff my dad finally gets home from work and I take a deep breath before seeing him.

"Elle? Brad said you're home." My dad knocks at my door.
"I am." I say quietly hoping he won't hear me.
"We need to talk." My dad says opening the door.
"About what? About what happened? Because I'm pretty sure I've already told you everything." I sigh.
"Elle, you've changed, not in a bad way, but not in a good way." My dad sighs.
"I think it's Noah."
"It's not! And even if it is I like who I am now." I blurt out.

If my dad is trying to get me to break up with Noah it isn't happening.

"Elle I just don't think the long distance is good for you, maybe you and Noah should take a bre-"
"No." I interrupt.
"We're not a taking a break, we're not breaking up, I don't care." I add on.
"Elle, as long as you're under my roof, you will follow my rules." My dad says.

Like I obviously knew that already.

"Then I guess I'm going out." I say standing up.
"No, you aren't." He stops me.
"You aren't leaving."
"Well dad I'm staying with Noah." I say confused.
"Okay. It's okay, I'm sorry I'm over reacting. But Elle, please, please just talk to me next time." My dad frowns.
"I'm sorry."

After talking with my dad about what happened I decide to go take a hot bath.

Later that night I'm lying in my bed not trying to sleep but just lying there. Why would Lee leave me. We've been friends for 17 years. 17. Rachel, Rachel has been his girlfriend for not even a year. I don't understand it. I really don't. Something is just not adding up. And I'm going to find out what.

I get out of bed and throw one of Noah's hoodies on. I grab my car keys, purse and phone and go downstairs.

"Elle?" My dad says as he hears the stairs creak.
"Where are you going?"
"I need to figure things out with Lee." I gulp.
"Okay, just please be careful, talk to me after please."
"I know dad, love you." I say opening the door.
"Love you dude."

I drive straight to the Flynn's. Barley stopping at stop signs. I need to figure out what's going on. It can't just be Rachel, there's something Lee won't tell me.

"Elle-?" Lee says opening the door.
"We-we need to talk." I bite my nails.
"Um yeah-sure." Lee says coming outside.
"Why'd you leave me." I say holding back the tears.
"Elle-"
"I don't need a whole heartfelt speech Lee, I just need an answer." I cut Lee off.
"I told you Elle, Rachel doesn't like us as best friends." Lee says obviously lying.

Does he not understand I've been his best friend for 17 years, I can tell when he's lying.

"Lee." I frown.
"I know you're lying. Or at least not telling the real truth."

Silence goes through both of us.

"Fine."
"Elle, I just couldn't do it anymore. We barley spent time together, and every time we did, I was always on the phone texting Rachel." Lee says shaking his leg.
"That should be my reason! It's your fault for not spending time with me! It's your fault for texting Rachel!" I semi yell.
"Elle I'm fucking sorry okay, Rachel, I don't know what's going on with her lately okay. I left you because Rachel complained about us spending 'too much time together' even thought we barley did. Rachel is the problem here and I should have chosen you." Lee says all in one breath.
"And Rachel is going to need to understand that I need to be friends with you, and that she can break up with me if she doesn't like that."
"Lee." I tear up.

Lee gives me a huge hug. It's what I missed the most about Lee, he always gives the best hugs. Don't tell Noah, but better then his.

After talking to Lee about everything that happened in the past week I finally head home because my dad is probably waiting for me.

That night I fall asleep pretty quickly. I don't really talk to my dad about anything, I just let him know that everything is good with me and Lee now. And that I'm probably happier then I've been in a week. Even when I was with Noah, I just hated the fact I wasn't good with Lee.
