Fuck it I'm going to see him. I get out of bed, wipe the mascara off my eyes and head out to my car.

When I arrive at the Flynn's I take a deep breath and get out and make my way towards the door. My finger is about to ring the doorbell when the door opens and there Noah is standing.

We stare at each for a couple seconds before Noah moves over so I can come in.

"I'm ready to talk." Noah says setting me down.
"I'm ready to listen." I say.

We walk up the stairs and I sit on his bed.

Noah sits on his desk chair and starts talking. "Okay, so Annie is 100% just a friend."
"And-and I didn't want to tell you, but-but I might get kicked of the football team." Noah bits his lip.
"Wait why? You're amazing at football." I say in confusion.
"My grades haven't been as good as they were in high school. Elle, college is hard, so much harder then high school, and-and I just missed you so much. And this weekend was supposed to be the first big game of the season but-but I needed to see you." Noah admits.
"Wait-wait I'm the reason you're going to be kicked off the football team?" I say getting up.
"No! No! It's me. It was my choice Elle." Noah says quickly.
"But why did Annie know? I ask.
"She was helping me. She was tutoring me and she covered for me." Noah says.
"So-so you aren't cheating on me, Annie is just a friend and you might get kicked off the football team." I say running it through my mind.
"Cor-correct." Noah says bouncing his leg.
"But why? Why would you risk your football career for-for me?" I say confused.
"Because I fucking missed you Shelly. I needed to kiss you, I needed to see you in person." Noah says quickly.

I just stare at him and he stares at me.

"Noah, I-I can't have you risking your football career-for-for me. I know you missed you. I missed you too, but football is your life." I say concerned.
"You're my life." Noah says under his breath.

I smile. But not trying to show it because I think he didn't know I heard him.

"I'm sorry Shelly, I really am. And I won't come down just for random things okay, I promise." Noah says.
"Okay. I'll just need to visit you." I smirk.
"Elle, I don't mean to be a jerk, but you have high school, and high school is important. Especially since you're in senior year, you can't come down randomly either." Noah takes a deep breath.
"I know, I get it." I say looking away from him and holding back the tears.

Why do I still feel like he's keeping something from me.

"I need us to make 1 promise." I say taking a deep breath.
"What's that?" Noah asks.
"That we don't keep anything from each other. Even if we can't tell each other in person. We need to tell each other." I state.
"Deal." Noah says.
"Deal." I repeat.

We sit there in silence before Noah blurts out. "Then I need to tell you that I might switch to Berkeley next September."
"Wait what? Why?" I say confused.
"Because Elle, I need to be with you. One year is a lot to be away from you, but another 4. I can't just do visits everything month." Noah admits.
"But Noah you know i was applying to Harvard." I ask
"Yeah, I know, but I'm still going to apply to Berkeley and if you don't get in, I'll transfer." Noah says.

He knows exactly what he's saying. Its like he's reading it off a script.

"Okay, but what about Lee? You guys have always planned on going there together. I can't be the reason you guys split up." Noah says shaking his head.
"Me and Lee has talked it over. He's going to apply for Harvard too." I say bouncing my leg.
"Okay, so-"
"So I'll apply to Berkeley and Harvard, you'll apply to Berkeley." I say cutting Noah off.
"Yeah." Noah says still not looking sure. I don't know what's up with him but I'm finding out.

"Noah. I need you to tell me what's wrong." I say.
"Nothing." Noah says looking away.
"Noah Flynn I know when something is wrong and right now I can tell. There's something bothering you." I frown.
"Fine! I don't want you to get with someone else." Noah says frustrated.
"Wh-what?" I say confused.
"Elle. There are so many better guys then me. Guys who get better grades. Guys who will kiss better then me. Be by your sid-"
"No." I cut Noah off.
"What?" Noah asks.
"No one is better then you Noah Flynn. You're mine. I'm yours." I say getting up.
"I like to know that." Noah says standing up.

Noah steps forwards to me and I can feel him breathing on me. I look up and him and he looks down to me and he softly kisses me. It's like our first kiss all over again. Magical.
