Chapter 23~Back Home...

Nagito's POV:

I wince as I try to walk, holding where my wound is. I really shouldn't be doing this...I know that Hajime's gonna be pretty mad...I look back, seeing Akane, Nekomaru, and Souda following me at a distance in their wolf forms. At least they're here...if it was just me...I'd be a walking target for creeps and...the lackeys...I sigh a bit. I'm still worried about them showing up considering my condition right now...they could easily come and take me with no problems. Though...I honestly kinda don't mind...I know I have to face them sometime in order to get rid of Izuru. I'll have no choice...this is for Hajime.

I start feeling a bit weak and slightly dizzy. Damn it...I was hoping to last longer then this...I feel my legs about to give out, until something furry moves next to me. Is it Nekomaru or Akane...? Maybe Souda...? I look over my eyes widening some, "H-Hajime...?" He huffs and moves his head under my arm, trying his best to keep me stable as I use him to push myself back up, "I'm sorry..." I say sadly as I start walking again, Hajime sticking very close to me.

I watch as another wolf moves to the other side of me. I think...that's Chiaki...~ Shes the only wolf form I haven't seen yet so this must be her...~ I smile a bit. Looks like they're getting along now that they're working together to help me...~ I guess Hajime must've forgiven her about what she said...I'm...honestly surprised that she would even say it in the first place...in front of Hajime...one of her best friends. Ugh this just gives me another reason to hate Izuru...

After a bit we finally get to my house, me leaning on the door frame as I open it and walk in. I start to walk up the stairs, being instantly pulled back by Hajime, "I need to get to my bed..." I say, him shaking his head and looking over at the couch, making me sigh some. "You must not want me to walk any more..." He nods and leads me over to the couch, me carefully laying on it. Ugh...it hurts so bad...I should've listened to Hajime and stayed home.

I feel Hajime laying his head on me, making me smile and pet him some, "I'll be okay...~" I look around the rest of the living room, "Where are the others...?" I ask, him looking back at the other four, who are now sleeping under the stairs. I smile some, "I'm glad you let them stay~" I say as I yawn some, looking to see Hajime pulling a blanket over me. "You should get up here too...~" I say, him huffing some and shaking his head, "You can sleep at my feet...~" he gives me a weird look, shaking his head again as he walks back next to me, laying down on the floor. I sadden some. I wish we were in my room...

Hajime's POV:

~The Next Morning~

I groan as I wake up, stretching some. Sleeping on the floor was a bad idea...I'm sore...how are the other four able to do this...? I look over at Nagito, saddening some. He looked...so awful last night...I can't believe Nekomaru and Akane thought it would be a great idea to take him to the cafe...seriously?! I take a breath and look around, seeing that three of them are making food while the other one is still asleep...of course it doesn't surprise me that its Souda. Chiaki looks over at me, smiling some, "Are you hungry Hajime~?" She asks, making me smile a bit. "Yea, but can we get Nagito back to his room...? This couch looks uncomfortable to lay on..." I say, Nekomaru instantly heading over to us, picking up Nagito.

Once we're up to Nagitos room, Nekomaru lays him down on the bed and walks towards the door, "We'll bring back food once it's done!" He says, me nodding as he leaves. I look over and see Nagito stirring some, me quickly getting a blanket and covering him up. It looks like his wound reopened some...I sigh a bit. That's why I kept you from walking Nagito...this is what happens. I sigh again as I was about to walk away, feeling something pull at the bottom of my shirt, "Hajime..." I hear Nagito mumble, making me instantly turn around and sit by him. "I'm here...~" I say as I pet his head, making him smile a bit.

"Come here...~" Nagito mumbles as he tiredly holds his arms out, making me blush. Is he actually sleeping...? I lay by him, him instantly wrapping his arms around me and hugging me tightly. I sigh some. I feel like I'm a stuffed animal or something...this is weird. After a bit I close my eyes. I guess it's okay to stay like this for a while...if this will help him sleep some...I pull the covers over us both, turning my head the best I can so I can kiss his forehead. Its a bit difficult to do in this position...but it's fine...~

After a little while I hear Nagtio yawn some, him loosening up his arms around me. Finally! I turn around to face him, seeing an adorable smile on his face, "Morning cutie~" Nagito says as he pulls me closer, making me grumble and blush some. "I'm not cute..." I say, him giggling and nuzzling me some. "You are to me~" Nagito says, making me roll my eyes and smile some. "Whatever you say...~" I say with a slight laugh as I pet his hair, noticing his side, "Does it still hurt...?"

Nagito lets me go, moving the blanket so he could see his wound better, "It does...but that's my own fault..." he says as he looks down sadly, "Im sorry..." I sigh some, "Its alright...let me fix it for you..." I say as I get up and grab the first aid kit, looking back to see Nagito looking more upset. I sigh some to myself. Nagito...I walk back over, sitting next to him as I start bandaging him up again, "No more walking for you okay...? Don't even let the others take you anywhere..." I say sternly, him nodding some.

Nagito looks down some, "H-Hajime..." he says, making me look over at him, "Are...you mad at me...? I understand if you are...I didn't listen to you..." my eyes widen when I hear that, making me quickly hug him, "No No of course not...~" I say, tightening my hug, but not too tightly because of his wound...even though I really want to. He blushes and wraps his arms around my neck, playing with my wolf ears some, "I'm glad...~ I honestly thought you were...~" he says with a giggle, me blushing some. It's...kinda hard to concentrate when he's playing with my ears...

Nagito looks at me curiously, smirking slightly, "Someone's ears are sensitive~" he says as he continues to play with them, making me shiver some and blush more, "S-Stop..." I say, feeling embarrassed. "Awwwww can you be even more adorable~" Nagito says with a laugh as he lets them go and lays back down, wincing some. I sadden and cover him back up, him smiling some and taking my hand. I still hate that they did this to you...I wish there was more I could do...I wish that I could just heal you, but I'm not like the werewolves from a series I've seen...
