Chapter 14~Needing to Talk.

Chiaki's POV:

Stupid Nagito...how could he let him come here?! Does he even realize that Hajime's right where the hunter wants him...?! I sigh some to myself. Well it's not like I didn't expect this to happen, but this isn't just about Hajime now...Nagito's gonna be their focus before him because of...that necklace. Why would Izuru do something like this...? That necklace is the key to bringing him back...so why give it to Nagito...?

"Chiaki..." I snap out of my thoughts and look over at Souda, who looks concerned, "He's walking over..." he says as I look back to see...Hajime coming towards me. Why me...? Why does he have to focus his anger at me...? Yes I lied to him, but...I would've thought that...we would've easily talked it out and everything would be okay...I think for a moment. Could this be because of Izuru...? Is...he making Hajime hate me...? I look behind Hajime to see that Nagito's trying to keep him away, but...it's not working out too well.

"Hajime please...let's just go..." Nagito says as he try's to pull him back, looking very concerned. Hajime looks at Nagito, his face softening some, "I'll be fine...I promise I won't cause a scene...~" he smiles a bit at him, but goes back to being serious, "I just...need to talk to her." he says as he looks back at me with a slight glare. I look at them curiously. Did...something happen between those two yesterday...? Hajime seems...a bit different around him now...maybe I can get him to tell me.

Nagito sighs a bit and lets him go, "Alright...but if your talking to her, I'm gonna talk to Souda...we need to discuss some stuff..." he says, making Hajime a bit irritated. He crosses his arms and looks away from him, "Fine..." Hajime says with a grumble, making Nagito smirk some. I watch as he leans in and whispers something into Hajime's ear, making him blush some and elbow his side, "Shut up!" he says, Nagito laughing some as he walks over to Souda. I raise my eyebrow some. Okay...something is definitely going on with those two...

I watch as Souda gets up and leaves with Nagito, Hajime watching them closely, "Someone's a bit overprotective...~" I say with a slight laugh, making Hajime look back over with a slight glare. "I'm not! I just don't want him to get hurt..." he says, blushing some. Akane smirks some, "Suuuuure your not~" she says with a laugh, Hajime growling some. "Would you two mind leaving! I did say I wanted to talk to just Chiaki..." He says, me nodding in agreement. "He's right...you and Neko go ahead and go...I'll catch up with you guys and Souda later...~" I say, smiling some.

Despite them both being uncomfortable leaving me alone with someone who hates me right now, they get up and leave. Once they're both out of sight I sigh a bit, "Hajime...Souda's not gonna hurt him...I promise..." I say as he sits by me, "We're not after him...we have no reason to be..." Hajime looks away from me, "It's hard for me to believe that..." he says, irritating me some. This is ridiculous...I'd never do something to hurt anyone...and he knows that.

We sit quietly for a little while until I finally speak up, "Look...I don't know what Izuru told you, but-" I'm interrupted by Hajime who suddenly gets up and faces me, "That's something else! How did you know that Izuru was inside me?!" He says suddenly in an angry tone, making me look down some. I...don't want to tell him, but...if Izuru is messing with his head...he should at least know why he's there. "He put himself there...using that necklace" I say, making him confused. "The necklace? You mean the one I gave to Nagito...?" He says, me nodding in agreement, "How...?"

I stand up and lead him out of the hallway, "Lets go somewhere else to talk..." I say, taking him to an empty classroom. I don't want to risk one of the hunters lackeys overhearing me...once I close the door I look back at him, noticing that his eyes...changed. One of them is red like...Izuru's...does that mean he's talking to him right now...? Or that he's partly in control...? This...may not be a good idea after all...but I can't turn back now.
